  • Fuck I can't believe it!! When I opened my curtains this morning there was one card stuck to the window!! And it was the fuckin 8 of clubs!!!!!!!!!

  • Incorporate the classic pass in here and its great!

  • Great tutorial cheers mate

  • don't really get phase 4 or 5 but ok

  • in phase one how do you hide the top card you fliped over ???

  • wtf wtf when he said im going to take the 8 of clubs out im like what are the chances its on the top of my deck flip my top card over and guess what it is LOL 8 of clubs

  • Ok guys I'm starting to get a bit freaked.... because I was absent-mindedly practising some card control techniques while watching this video, and when I finished shuffling my deck, I looked at the top card and it was the 8 of clubs! It's the same card that Jerakahol's mum chose and the same card on the top of his deck after he was shuffling the deck, and also the same card as a spectator chose when I was doing my routine last night! WTF 8 of clubs???

  • @Krolblach ewwwwww me too. the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. hold me. 8 of clubs!

  • is that your mom?;)

  • @ThieXs you bet :)

  • dude just slide the bottom card out a bit and turn the rest of the deck over , easier way to get a revesed card on top an you dont have to turn away.

  • @carzymagician very nice suggestion! i'm planning on incorporating that, and would definitely recommend others do as well

  • @carzymagician hi can you explain this move in more detail please? thanks!

  • Mmm... exposing magic does not spread it to the younger generation. It only hurts our art. If you're a paid, professional magician you will realize the mechanics of the tricks themselves are irrelevant, and exposing such things as this discredits harder material that better magicians do. Laymen will see this and think "Oh man, all magic is as hoaxy." Which, regardless if that is true or not, it is how a lot earn their living.

  • were did u get ur t shirt i like it :)

  • well done video

  • well done

  • that was awesome

  • I'm NOT kidding , when I just picked up my deck the 8 of clubs were on top .. crazy shit ..

  • please, remove all your explanation videos. i really appreciate the idea behind your teachings, but magic wont die if u werent there. Youtube is just not the right place to explain all this stuff. The vanishing coin, ok, one thing, not even a common manouver, just lapping ..... but the AMBITOUS CARD ROUTINE??? R U CRAZY :D?

Back in the days magic was taught in rooms where only selected ppl were around. Nowadays they sell you everything ... but u didnt even take money for it.

  • @allofyour10 actually i teach it over the course of many videos. all in all i spend close to an hour if not more explaining it in extreme detail. i am just following the spread of magic into the next generation... i am ruining magic just as much as the kindle is ruining novels.

  • @allofyour10 Yes ok...... But how about of the all other tutorials for example the jazz aces card trick it can be revealed in 4-6 minutes and i can perform it perfect! You are really retard!

  • thanks a lot: ) you know I was frustrated to be a magician but through some people revealing tricks by youtube, I got Idea how to perform a very good trick and I empress a lot of my friends.. thanks a lot guys: ) and also to mr jerakahol..

  • great job, really clean, simple to follow (well for people who have a basic knowlege of slight of hand) i loved the trick, and my friends are baffled,

    this vid was greatly appreciated!

  • cool

  • The ending didnt make alot of sense

  • 3:10 for the actual tutorial

  • VERY CLEAN!.. CONGRATS

  • thakx:)

  • I love how you're not as boring as everyone else who does these videos.

  • the only bad thing that u turn around when the spectator is showing everyone the card saying that the performer is not soppost to know the card, the he turns around and looks at it, it's pretty strange O_o

  • yeah i've had a lot of comments about that, and i realized yes, it was pretty strange... i've never personally been called on it, or have anyone say anything about it, but one thing you could do to avoid any problems would be to pretend that you are planning on doing another effect, turn around because you shouldn't see the card, then shout "oh!" and say "here, i want to show you something really cool" and pull out a marker for them to sign the card. that way your actions are justified! :D

  • ah okay thats a good idea, but i dont do it XD i do the classic pass and other routines :P but u did teach me one of the routines. thanks mate :D

  • @SunsetRoulette nah, you shouldn't be so negative. Most magicians can get themselves off almost any situations like this one. I do the same thing all the time, then when I would look at the card intentionally and jokingly tell them I knew what their card was and they just laugh it off all the time then after I got the cards where I want them to be, I just move on with the trick. It's not strange at all

  • LOL i got a random deck of cards I had and grabbed 2 random cards, bent them, put one in the middle and looked at the top and it was the 8 of clubs. hahaha.

  • The EXACT same thing just happened to me!!!

  • this is oz ambitious card

  • i'm not sure the details of his routine... the trick itself is very common and he did release his own version, but i'm pretty sure mine isn't the same... i've never seen his, and if mine were the same i'm not sure my video would have survived 2 years on youtube

  • in kamm's ambitious card, didn't he do the classic pass or inivisible pass or w/e? you do it differently =o

  • Awesome

  • Amazing!

  • evryone likes to think revealing magics secrets is bad but really its just the people you reveal it to.if it is some asshole who wants to make magicians feel dumb he can go jug off.but if someone needs help learning i would help them anytime.

  • waaaaaay to confusing. plz make more clear and SLOW DOWN!

  • It was hard to slow down, considering the 10-minute limit on the videos... so what I did was break it down into various moves and explain each one in detail then make this video to tie them all together. I suggest you check out my other videos if you don't understand.

  • alright cool i will. have a nice holiday

  • People that want to revealed tricks, like Andy Field, just want to help people, because some people demand a tutorial and people just want to help out instead of letting them suffer not knowing how to do the trick.

  • Actually that's not why I am here... not for the people who want to know how it's done, but for the people who want to learn the art of magic.

  • Don't listen to these asses. They keep arguing about how it is not good to reveal a secret, and how it is a bad idea to reveal it to other people. If thats the case, than why are they even here in the first place

  • thats a great trick any tips on how to get a good double lift I have trouble fooling everyone with my double lift as it is very basic

  • thanks! check out my other videos :)

  • Great trick and you are a great magican Keep it up!

  • whats the point in revealing ...

  • Comment removed

  • That rule is not 100% true. If a magician could never reveal a secret, nobody else could ever learn to do magic. That includes you and me. So clearly, there are cases in which this rule can be broken. Most magicians these days say "If you buy the trick for $20, you can learn how to do it." All I'm doing is rather than selling DVDs teaching the trick, I'm filming it with no budget and putting the videos on YouTube. It's a tough question whether or not this is right or wrong...

  • Comment removed

  • @DTSmagick shut up If its ok buying tricks then how is it not ok to show it on youtube. you're messed up

  • Comment removed

  • @DTSmagick yeah like every single person on earth is going to go on youtube and type in card trick tutorial and really money isn't a solution to anything

  • @DTSmagick

not everyone's gonna pay money to see it tho.

eventually magic dwindle down and no longer exist.

surely you want a beautiful thing like magic to die?

  • your performance was very good and there were some excellent ideas displayed. I dont know if you came up with those variations on your own or not but they were entertaining

the problem I have is the very fact that you explain how to do it. in my opinion this should not be done in such an open and easily accessible place as youtube. I have had some tricks ruined by people who say theyve seen it on youtube. if someone wants to learn how its done, let them find out from the right source

  • I thought it was an excellent explanation and has helped me loads. As all your vids have. Thanks. You have any idea how Cyril does his back in time card in a sealed deck at the end of his ambitious routine? Desperate to know. Think I kind of have some of it figured out but not all. Anyhow your explanations are some of the best on youtube I reckon. Cheers fella!

  • This tutorial was not helpful at all to me. It didn't explain any of the mechanics of HOW to execute these moves. You moved way too fast, and didn't explain what you were doing. And at the end, you didn't explain the need to lift and bend two cards, to produce the illusion of the card coming to the top. Plus, for the Marlo Lift, or whatever you called it, you didn't explain how to do that one either. Please remove your video, for it is of no help at all. Thank you.

  • haha.. well.. please read the description of the video again:

"First watch all of my other videos leading up to this one, because I don't teach any moves in this video! My other videos teach the moves and this one simply strings them all together and shows how to make a routine out of them."

after reading that, understand that i took as much time as i could to explain every instance of the effect... if you still have questions fire me another comment

  • im wearing the same short as you right now lol, very nice video

  • hahaha nice.. thanks!

  • this sht is mad hard!

  • lol that lady at the end of the trick was like, oh that is cool oh ho ho ohhhhh i need a drink. XD

  • Should not expose this on youtube mate!

  • Dude, only magicians really look up for this stuff

  • what are you talking about?when card tricks aree revealed on youtube it only forces magicians to come up with better sleights and raises the overall standard of magic.

  • NICCCCCE! That was great. Thank you soooo much bro. LAter,

    Leo G.

  • Yo bro, who was on the phone?

  • whats your new vid called

  • The ambitious card has always been one of my favorite effects.

  • that was the most amazing thing i have ever seen in my entire life thank u so much. i would also like to say in respect the way u think about magic like as an art thank you.

  • that performance was unbelieveable!!! and i could tell you lived in canada...the way you said "doubt"....amazing!!!!!!!

  • Moreover, there is a code among magicians that specifically forbids revealing secrets. Having said all of this, I must admit taking advantage of the availability of this information. It is like software piracy...we are all being corrupted. We are losing our souls....

  • Next time you're in Phoenix, look me up for a drink.

  • regret to inform you that won't happen... i live in canada :)

  • you live in what location in canada? I bet toronto... I live in winnipeg..

  • i live in regina, sk :)

  • dude i live in regina.

  • no way!

  • yeah man nw. by st. angela.

  • that is sick. i live in the nw too, by st. jerome lol.

  • dude thats fucking weird... my gf lives by there. i prob go past your house everyday :P

  • As such, there are secrets to the craft which must remain secret for the entertainment to resonate. You cannot say that about a painting, because nothing is lost by understanding HOW the painting was realized. Everything is lost when the secret to a trick is know except perhaps some appreciation for the prestidigitation, but that will not go over with most audiences.

  • there is a story that goes like this... david copperfield at one time levitated a ferrari on stage. one night, something went wrong and the ferrari came crashing down to the stage. after that, he sold his next week's worth of shows out.... he has said himself that he believes this is because everyone wanted to see him screw up. WHY? is it because they wanted to laugh at him, or because they wanted to be *involved* in the secret of the illusion?

  • Its an example of human nature. When the Space Shuttle launches on Monday, a good fraction of the people who turn up at the launch will be there secretly hoping that they'll get to see it blow up. We "rubber neck" at car accidents for the same reason.

  • Some people want to hear themselves TEACH so badly that they will sacrifice integrity to do so. The wise and mature magician understands and respects the code.

  • i used to be of that same frame of mind... but most people like to refer to magic as an art, which i agree with... one day it just kind of clicked. what other art do you know of where people try and hide their method's? people can learn to paint. learn to draw. learn to sing. learn to dance. why should magic be any different? if people want to learn the art of magic (which is what my videos focus on) they should be allowed and have access to the help they deserve.

  • Hmmm...I can see where you're coming from, and you make a good point, but I'll play devil's advocate and take a crack at a counter argument: The creative arts you mention are intended as modes of self-expression, to entertain, or to reveal truths of Nature, whereas the magical arts are intended primarily to entertain, and which rely on deception for that entertainment.

  • respect your self man....and respect us to...don't show to all people...

  • i appreciate your putting it so nicely, but why do you feel that explaining how to do magic is disrespectful? myself, i don't feel that i'm any less respected by teaching magic. and i don't feel disrespected when someone else reveals magic (unless it's a copyrighted effect)... can you please explain why it's disrespectful?

  • or he is sharing for the magicians out there who want to be good, but those who are less fortunate, Not all of us are rich boys like you with wealthy mommies and daddies. So think..

  • @XploiT5 thinkings too hard!

  • @XploiT5 well, you don't really need wealthy mommies and daddies to have all of these amazing tricks. True, you might not get all of the most incredible things but that doesn't mean you can't teach yourself how to become a magician. Buddy, you start from low to high. There are tons of books and Dvds at the local libraries, go check them out and study. Exposing magic is only roughly a good thing when it's only tips, but when it is copyrights, other magicians will become poor lke you. So think.

  • if you're curious enough to be watching these videos you're curious enough to go out and pick up a book. this doesn't change that it takes hours of practice to get a routine like this down. just because someone knows how an extremely common trick is done doesn't take anything away from magic. it doesn't take away from the 'big boys' you could get a routine like this in any book. most magicians will have much more than this in their army.

well presented and explained, thanks for sharing

  • I agree

  • Thank you! i Love this trick! it's just completely awesome ! Thank you for revealing it ;)

  • forget the negative imput people post just remember you did good man real good.

if people like you and i dont break our silence then how do others learn//

    clive

  • i lked the presentation :D

  • u rok ten outa ten!!!!!!!!

  • It was good but I'll give you a few tips....Never Reveal a good trick or some might say (effect/illusion) but then again "Good" Magicians never reveal they're secrets. Not trying to be mean. But you did good.

  • First, you should not expose magic especially on youtube to total strangers. Many of whom has no serious interest in the art other than trying to know the secret.

Second, if you must teach then teach something fundamental, such as how to maintain a "break" or a do a "double lift". The "ambitious card routine" is one of the most mystifying effect out there and many so-called magicians simply destroyed it due to bad performance.

  • wrong move dude, wrong move.

  • this is a very good tutorial

  • TY so much man.I think this is one of the un gimmicked soolest card trick =]

    (love un gimmicked tricks)

  • u did it well but u guys really shouldnt show ppl how to do them cause magic is about making ppl smile and thinking whats the point when every1 knows how to do them? these are just magicans secrets...

  • WOW! youre awesome men!! Thank you very much for this!!

  • You're an idiot for revealing your magic, it's the number one rule for all magicians NOT to reveal tricks, btw this isn't your trick it's in many of the magic books "the royal road to card magic" being one

  • i know it's not my effect and i'm not claiming it is, i just said it's the version that i perform. and i would assume i would know this, because i also have the royal road to card magic book and dvd so i've encountered it..secondly, while we're pointing out each other's flaws, they're called "effects" or "illusions", not "tricks" :)

  • well, they're called effects. An illusion is a visual compromise. Such as a vanish or an appearance or something of that sort.

  • houdini was fooled by this trick

  • hey dude tat was a great video 5 outta 5 :)

  • people like you ruin magic for everyone, take this off for people that actually spend money on this/ make money on it

  • first off, where did you purchase this ambitious card routine? if you paid for this, ask for your money back, as they stole it from me. secondly, i don't feel i have to take it off for people who earn money off this, because i have been booked for shows *BASED ON THIS VIDEO*. people see my videos, see what magic is, and hire me based on that. who cares if they know how to do the trick?

  • secondly, check out the comment i posted here about a month ago:

"i used to be of that same mind as i am a magician myself... but i have come to believe that secrets are not the be all end all of magic... magic is about the wonder and the awe and the creativity and the art... i still perform this effect all the time and people are still amazed and impressed... then they come up to me later and say "i know how that was done, but i still loved watching you do it"... secrets < art"

  • I'm also talking about the "Fuck you" comment you made with my comment as well...

  • you're just an asshole. go to the streets and ask like 100 magicians if they made their own trick. the answer will be no

  • Then they aren't Magicians dumbass...

Like I said you have no knowledge what you're talking about....

  • stop killing magic you fucking assholes

  • watch brad christian's ambitious card routine and figure out what he is doing I did and thank you

  • Awesome video quality dude

  • Congratulations, nice performance and remember all of you that the real magic is on the performance not in the tricks themselves. XD 5/5 stars and a subscriber.

  • GREAT video

dont listen to all the ppl putting you down..

    keep up the good work!

    5/5

  • that was such a awesome trick and a good explanation i thought u performed it very well and dont listen to the other assholes that try to put you down

  • For Jerakahol: Awesome video, detailed step by step process! (Laughed at the phone part :P)

For Scionboss: I hate it when you bastards watch/rate videos that you dont even like, go get a life

  • i hate it when you bastards reveal good tricks on youtube

  • i used to be of that same mind as i am a magician myself... but i have come to believe that secrets are not the be all end all of magic... magic is about the wonder and the awe and the creativity and the art... i still perform this effect all the time and people are still amazed and impressed... then they come up to me later and say "i know how that was done, but i still loved watching you do it"... secrets < art

  • Way to go man.And it´s true what you said about the performance. There are many of videos and books that explain the secrets And also ALL the people, magicians or no magicians can have acces to them.I´m a magician too and the real art of magic is how to perform a trick. For example: the cups and balls routine, card manipulation on stage and card tricks are in some ways the oldest tricks in the world and in these years the people still amazed with this tricks. (to be continued...) LOL

  • Lol at you man.

One of the good things that people reveal the tricks, is that magicians have to come up with new tricks, not just showig the old over and over again

  • That was supposed to be a reply to "scionboss" post

  • How so? The magic community needs people like him to do this. If it wasn't for "bastards" like him magic wouldn't be as popular. People lose a trick everytime someone reveals it, so after that they need to make up for it by making a new one. It is fact that 75 magicians agree that they make new tricks because of this priciple. Why would magic be so awesome if all of us have seen it?

Oh and BTW magic has increase 110 percent since Criss Angel started revealing.

  • people reveal magic like every 2 seconds but it takes a lot longer to make new ones.

  • And that's why people respect Magicians, if you are a truly good one, you can make new tricks.

  • someday soon there will be no magic

  • Haha you're sooooo wrong, see I hate people like you who talk out of their ass and act that they know what the fuck they're talking about. You have no idea what Revealing has doen to Magic, it has cause an INCREASE not an decrease. Just because we ruin old tricks doesn't mean shit when the creator makes a new variation....

  • if he didnt reveal the trick. how would others learn it? beginners offiacly can't do the trick. The people that do learn the trick are rather good at magic. They're likely to not reveal the "precious" magic trick.

  • i understand where you are comming from... HOWEVER! he is a professional magician and has been doingmagic for 10 years. there is a difference between someone knowing their shit and teaching it then someone who just learned it and tries telling everyone how it works. in fact i admire what he did because he could have easily made a DVD and charged people for it! but he did a fre lessonand a GOOD one! keep it up my friend good work! -Michael O'Brien (Magic Castle Holywood Jr. Member)

  • hey dont listen too all of the negative comments, great trick it helped alot and i aint a beginner! the extra video u made helped more aswell. lol the only thing i didnt get it when you say show the camera and u turn away, then yet u take a look at it when u get it back... other than that great job 5/5

  • yeah a few people have mentioned that weird moment there haha.. best explanation i can come up with it that they will draw anything if you turn away, but they feel reserved if you are watching them.. but the reason i look after is just because it doesn't matter if i see the card and it helps lead into the first phase.. hope this makes more sense :)

  • hahaha the only reason he does a explanation is because he sucks too much and now it looks like he has some authority. that was so bad. i mean come on look at those riffle shuffles. thanks to idiots like this, the art of magic is completely ruined. i mean come on why are you even posting a explantion? so a bimbo on the otherside of the planet can figure out how its done? why would you care? yes i know why. because you dont like magic. anyway the performance itself needs more practise.

  • well thanks for the comment, but actually i love magic and i have been performing for about 10 years. however, i'm trying to keep magic alive so i'm teaching public domain tricks that i have a right to give away so that other people can learn and appreciate magic. notice that my attitude is not "wow this trick is so easy and stupid" but "magic is difficult and takes practice but if you do practice then you can become a great magician"... but thanks for the input anyway

  • Nigga the audience is not gonna try to look it up becuz it will be ruined to them so dont swet. Most ppl who look it up are magicians in training.

  • Slow down! You sound a little nervous. When you did the John Ellis move on the second, the card flashed a little. Just don't run your patter. This is an amazing effect in general. Dai Vernon brought it to popularity when he fooled Houdini. Vernon did it slow and mystified Houdini 8 times. I think you do it well but just slow down a little! good job

  • dude thank you so much. very nice explained.thx again

  • Cool vid mann do more do more!!!!

  • due you go to fast i don't understand the second part with the break and shit

  • i go fast in this video because if i didn't it would take more than 10 mins to explain. so i broke it down. i suggest you watch my earlier videos... i break all the moves in this video down so that i can talk fast during this video

  • GOod performance, dun reveal any magic tricks next time, magic are not suppose to be reveal.

  • that was very good thanks for the explination

  • man that is cool...thanks you for explaintin the trick.

  • Do not kill the illusion. If someone really wants to learn magic, he was looking for the way of doing it, but do not reveal the secrets of which we live of this. You are murdering the queen of the arts. Please STOP.

  • nice video! its so clear and easy to understand=]

  • remove this asshole you spoil the art!

  • please take it off or at least make random tags so when u look up ambiitous card routine this doesnt come up 3d from the top!

  • hey jerakahol, theres one thing that doesnt make sense. when she picked the card, why did you turn away and said, "i wont look" if you looked at her card anyway? if you cant get engough misdirection for it, try using lepauls blyuff pass or marlo tilt in the beginning.

  • the only reason i've continued with this is that they don't know what trick i'm doing at the beginning so it makes sense that i turn away.. then when i do finally look, either i've changed my mind about what trick to do or they forget completely that i even ever turned around... i've never been caught with it so that's the only reason i've continued.. but i will look into the bluff pass and see how that works for me!! thanks!

  • good trick check out mine

  • what i ment was the marlow tilt i don't get it.

  • watch my video called "the marlo tilt"
