Sorry but is this for real...Toni Braxton is amongst some of the biggest and best vocalist ever...Alex gives her no compatition...The fact that Toni stood on stage and delivered the song with little to no effert is proof in itself. Alex struggled throughout the song.

i think alexandra will not make it in the states even american idol winner jordin sparks sold 100,000 copies only of her debut album.there are many black women like alexandra here in the states.shesya mercado, la toya london, mandesa, fantasia barino,jennifer hudson, frenchy davis, tamyra gray, and a lot more.they couldn't even sell a million copies nowadays.toni's album is not even salable here in the states anymore.yes leona is famous here in the states! she sold over 6 million copies worlwide

Jordins album has since gone platinum, but that wasn;t a good debut. You our right about the black women, and Alexandra wouldn't even make top 12 on Idol. I think the simple act that she wasn't good enough the first time around says a lot about her talent.

oh really? didn't know it..las time i read it was 100k..is that a worldwide sales? yes i don't see alexandra being great like mariah, whitney, celine..yes leona is great...she has made it far all over the world..i think if alexandra joined american idol she wouldn't win the title..though she's good on her own way..i would give a credit to her effort..but right now i keep an eye on charice a wonderful and talented 16 yr old girl.she has a soulful, powerful voice and her voice has range and power.

I think that when you get used to hearing someone sing a song, you tend to like the original better. Having said that there really wasnt much between them. Alex did a great job, she held her own.

No offense but who is Alexandra? Ton nails the note at the end this young girl didn't hold it like Toni. Secondly Toni's the original and her growls at the end are on point. I'm happy she has a new album coming out, because she has a sound that cannot be duplicated, although imitated. And this isn't even Toni's best performance of this song.
