Dang, at 0:20 there's mild blood on the camera which is really done alot in today's movies.

I've always wanted to see this film & since it's on YouTube currently, i shall but in the past, I always tried to DVR this film but it took up so much space, I sadly would always delete it & never got the chance to watch it until now.

I find its politics a bit heavy, and Connery is NOT a middle-eastern man, but it's all right.

Yeah, Connery seems to like playing someone who he has nowhere near the accent for.

In the Hunt for Red October, he's great but he is not a Russian!

In Highlander, he's an unconvincing Egyptian but he's like "Screw it, I'm Sean Connery Dammit so you the movie viewer should totally buy it" but I don't despite that movie being very cool

@AllOuttabubbleGum He is portraying a Berber (as someone reminds TR in the movie), some of whom are quite white, and not an Arab-- unless you're referring to his accent and not his appearance, in which case, never mind. =)

yeah like conan or red dawn.red dawn was too much patriotic. was like the patriot but with aks and rpgs.

The Patriot was good but some of the legendary battles were unrealistic & not at all how it happened in real life plus the British villains were too over-the-top.

Anyway, it's better then Red Dawn which is cool but outdated in today's scenario. I do like the "Wolverines!" quote though!

Connery should be in the badass hall of fame especially if you've seen his subtle fight scenes in RISING RUN and THE PRESIDIO which starred another badass known only as Mark Harmon on T.V.'s NCIS!
