jason sucks compared to former metallica bassist Cliff Burton. look at his solos on youtube. much better than this. Cliff Burton was and is still the best bassist of all time. I bet even James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich would agree and that Cliff would still be in the band if he had not died in a tragic black ice incident. Cliff is the best!! they all had different styles,they were all very good,but in my opinion (I said in MY OPINION) Cliff Burton could shred any bassists balls off,he was just,to me,the best bassist there is,was and ever will be.His speed is unmatched,his great wah/fuzz hendrix style combo is great,and I just think he fit most with metallica.I respect Newsted and Trujillo alot,but they're no Cliff.I wish I coulda saw him live though.

Cliff was unique and one HELL of a bass player at the age of 24.. But Jason is the most "Metallica" of them all. I love Robert "The Metalgorilla" Trujillo aswell, sure he's got more technique, but Jason was still more Metallica than Cliff and Rob put together, no matter the skill-level...
