  • she is asked to make a determination between dark and light soy sauce. she acts like she is a chef. she states that the difference between dark and light soy sauce is that dark soy sauce is for color and light soy sauce is more flavorful. this is WRONG. people who post on youtube at this ability review their work before posting. this indicates she is a poor cook. i hope she reads this. she appears to be a very confident female.

  • ffs, stop stirring it in the pan with a metal spatula...

  • nice food nice lady, good combination

  • I don't get. how is this soup? it was chinese noodles with beef sauce.

  • SOME DAY I MA GONNA MARRY THAT GIRL....

  • I didn't know Chinese people have "beef noodle soup".

  • Lovely beautiful and smart chinese woman....Thanks for the recipes...will try it one day....

Some people wrote the comments show nothings but mental problems ...should get help by professional and get a life....

  • very good...............

  • Instead of the chili sauce you can use bean paste sauce and if you really know whats up then make some knife shaved noodles lol.

  • Thanks for the receipe. Its authentic and tasty! Now I can make better beef noodle than most restaruants! I add some chopped onions and cilantros too. Too bad fresh noodle shops dont exist in usa, gotta use dry noodles or wet fridged yellow noodles.... Or make your own noodles! My grandpa used to make fresh noodles for every meal now thanks to technology which suppose to make lifes better we are loaded with fake noodles, processed preped beef noodle flavor mix, and regression of taste buds.

  • This "plainbeauty" person is a Vietnamese racist female dog. She goes around youtube making racist cooments on many videoes. She always racist towards Chinese Han , Cantonese , Korean and southeast Asian people. Not sure about the motivations, but I guess she got mental problem or something. LOL

  • SOME IMA GONNA MARRY THAT GIRL

  • I have made this recipe twice now. I didn't measure anything, just went for it. The first time I got really fresh beef, so I skipped the first step of simmering it. I think I used more soy, wine, garlic and ginger than they did, and it came out fantastic! The second time however, I realized why they simmered the beef first; It came out stank! The flavors are delicate and any off flavors in the beef just overwhelm it. Also, I used sambal for the chili paste and it worked wonderfully. Great

  • um...it's sugar, people. wth??

  • First of all, there isn't MSG in this recipe (that was a teaspoon of sugar).

Secondly, only SOME people have any reaction to Monosodium glutamate (which by the way can be derived from any number of natural sources one of them being seaweed).

You'll find someone that is allergic to any food you can think of. Heck i know someone who'll go into anaphylactic shock if they consume anything that is derived from a cedar tree (gin-juniper berries, incense with cedar, bbq cooked on cedar plank etc.)

  • Why are people freaking out about MSG? There's no MSG in this recipe, just check the link in the more info box.

  • looks good but i am suprised you call it a soup

  • Excellent.

  • This dish is so authentic - having lived in Beijing for 2 years myself. Chinese food like this is meant to be spicy. When you eat chinese food in other western countries - it is very boring and tame in comparison to the original thing...and yes, you cook this dish for 60 mins. try it.. its fantastic.

  • 1 tsp of MSG!?!?!?!?!?

  • its common in chinese food in general to have MSG...

  • NO! im chinese and dont use MSG! it aint general ok! every country uses them!

  • and your right

  • yuck msg! wth?

  • its good mushu

  • lol! msg is a nono XD

  • Honestly, Gary Rhodes cooking Chinese is completely out of place. I think he's not truly putting his heart into it. And the recipe looks to be so spicy and hot it could make you cry. I wonder if there are poeple who actually attempt to make this, let alone eat it! :(

  • put it on for 6 min or 60 minutes???

  • 60 min
