  • It's like an early '90s Jackie Chan flick.

  • Wow! A rare instance of Really Good English! :D

  • I own that game....so hard!!!!the 3rd one is cooler!!!

  • Fuck yeah, Robert Garcia

  • Art of Fighting 3

  • I remember when Neo Geo Gold System was being sold at Shaper Image. It was the Ferrari of game consoles back in the early 90’s. If you could flip the bill for this extremely expensive gaming system and shell out over $200.00 for games...CRAZY! I have friends who still cannot believe how big the game cartridges are. A wopping 7.5 inches x 5.34 inches…wow what the fuck is this?!!! I still have this system and it’s still a blast to play as far as 2d games go. Neo Geo: Bigger Badder Better!!!

  • @samuraicinema I'm getting a Neo Geo in mid July 2011... $299.98 AFAIK, but it's 20 years old. Games are still $30 and up. So we have a 20 year old system that costs more than an Xbox 360.

  • @whattheheck1000 Cool let me know when you get it bro!!!! Yes… the Neo Geo Gold system is still the most expensive system in history of game consoles. My girl friend at the time thought I was fucking insane for spending that money. I purchased my system back in 1996 and its still working perfect! No red ring of death with that system!

    Hope to see you soon!!!

  • @samuraicinema Oh okie! I plan on getting it around July 18... but idk as I am an 18 year old whose parents would have to shell out the money. I think I might get my own job this summer, and use money from that to help pay for the Neo Geo... and I could get more GAMES that way too (:

  • @samuraicinema I'm going to Oklahoma this summer... it's going to be a BLAST! I'm going to have to put the Neo Geo plans on hold until later this year, but with my birthday coming in December, it shouldn't be hard to get one in 2011.

  • @whattheheck1000 ....L.O.L.! ...I remember being a teenager and telling myself to wait for the price to come down, I guess that never happened. LOL

  • $699 at launch, I think that's around $1499.00 today. That's what I heard somewhere tough, I might be 100% wrong.

  • Way ahead of it's time. But very very expensive.

  • HEVEE MACHEEN GUN! is teh best game evar made o.o

  • @huschusser It's called Metal Slug and it has nothing to do with this.

  • wow. how long had Dan (from street fighter) been around?

  • @ferrellcm 1995. Dan is basically Robert's face on Ryo's body but pink with Yuri's mannerisms. Oh and completely inept.

  • The company that started Real ass whippin supers and Zoom In and out...

Manly ass whippins Hakuto style! lol

  • My favorite console SNK forever!

  • SOOPAH REE-AL AKSHON GAYM.

  • Why can I not find any English language Neo Geo commercials?

  • @Swampert384 Because Neo Geo only on Japan, and not available on English

  • @tweetyaja Neo Geo wasn't only in Japan. Not only was it in the US, but most of this commercial is in English.

  • @Energyone But what I'm looking for is a ful English commercial, and the title of the game, so when I start buying Neo Geo titles off the virtual console, I'll know what they're called.

  • SUPER REAL ACTION GAME!

  • NEH-O JEE-O

  • Art Of Fighting was a fucking JOKE...TERRIBLE GAMEPLAY...That's what they get for straight bitin'...

  • NEOGEO the best console made by HUMANKIND

  • @superNeoGeokid yeah fucking right... all it had was these fighting games that all looked the same.

  • @damek666 LOL WUT. If you can't tell the difference between KOF and Samurai Shodown, you might need to get your eyes checked. Along with your perception of reality.

  • @damek666

Believe me when I tell you that's exactly what I think of today's FPS overabundance.

  • @superNeoGeokid Ummmm... well the first obvious problem is that the cartridges are WAY to big

  • amazing

  • This was for AOF2!

  • If you were a huge fan of fighting games and had parents with loads of money then you would have gotten wet for this console but if you were like most of us and liked a multitude of different game genres then you would have seen this as a huge waste of money. I give respect for SNK though for releasing a console that was far superior then any other one for many years.

  • the greatest fighting game ever

  • i love japanese ads

  • the neo geo would of been popular if they made it cheaper and affordable for the consumer but they thought $200 games and a $700 console would be good enough which = :( and lost of money

  • they didnt lose a lot of money - they couldnt get a big enough share of the market. the carts cost $170 to produce, and the console was where they lost money - not unlike the ps3, which at one point cost $800 to make and sold for $500

  • ether way we both know what happen in the end and arcade owners still buy neo geo carts till this day

  • whats that music in the background it makes me laugh

  • Art of Fightning 2 real action, yeahhh!!!

  • anyone remember this thing costing like $900.00 to buy just the system and another $500.00 a game back in the day.

  • neo geo was well before its time

  • I never knew SNK hired George Tikai to announce their logo at the end of advertisements.

  • I always wanted to know what Robert says, at 0.58 he says ''you're one of kind, everybody always'' and then it cuts

  • back when videogames had soul, and were original. ;_:

  • Don't cry, I know its sad but these classic games aren't going anywhere. Mind you, the arcades did though.. ;_; Boohooohoo!!

  • I know what you mean exactly, man. I feel your pain.

  • @ieatthat4breakfast Today's games are original as wee..there just aren't too many of them compared to back then.

  • So cool!! but.. what the fuck is thinking Ryo xD 0:13

  • Robert should have held on tighter to the bad guy

  • KOF is cool, but I wish SNK went back to just making a new Art of Fighting and a new Fatal Fury.

KOF was a huge success BECAUSE it was a "dream match" game. Mixing the good SNK fighters and IP's together.

...but if nobody knows of the original IP's, then doesn't KOF lose a bit of it's allure? It doesn't feel like a dream match, it's like it's own game.

People see Terry Bogard and think "Oh the guy from KoF right? Garou or something?"

Fatal Fury, get it right. Art of Fighting. Classics.

  • Now that's grade-A cheese right there! :D

AND Robert spoke in English! Now THAT'S beast!

  • umm

  • And Yuri Sakazaki is Ayumi Hamasaki, the quuen of J pop!!! I guess it`s her first appearence on tv

  • Hey , is the guy in white Ken Wahl ??

  • Weren't there ever any USA NeoGeo commercials??? I've never seen one....... not even for the ill-fated NeoGeoPocket.

  • 0:35 lol she owned him by mistake xD

  • that's an Art of Fighting's commercial, Art of Fighting is a Street Fighter Parody!

  • its an art of fighting commercial, but its fuck all like streetfighter

  • Something tells me he was supposed to say "everybody ok" at the end but it cuts to the logo too fast so he says "everybody O" lol

  • lol it looks like one of those 80's movies...i like it!

  • I wanted this system so bad. It was just so damn expensive. Also, the original Art of Fighting for Neo Geo was a good game. The revival of this game on the newer systems was lame and never quite played like the original.

  • NICE! King of Fighters kicks ASS! Next to Samurai Showdown

  • a nadie le gusta neogeo no mamennnnnnn
