should get some engineirs to some what copy the design of this car and sell it to the public for a good reasonable price and beat out the other companys yes i like gm but i dont like what they did to this car it was stupid but i have a feeling it had something to do with the gas companys or something like that or it was a head of its time if any one knew id like to know for just satisfaction but thats what i think

There are still about 40 of the ev1's left in the world. the ones in museums and giving to universities. there are some videos on youtube that feature them.

Killed by the use of the global oil taxation system. A government earns more in tax on oil for sitting on their ass than the oil company does for getting it out the ground.

GM crushed its future with the EV-1 it was at least a decade advanced for its time.

Look at GM now over a decade behind and the Volt if it even ever comes out still has an internal combustion engine on it

the Volt is better than the EV1 is some cases. The Volt is a electric car for the most part but it is (and this is a good word) assisted by Fuel.

You can still get an Electric Car from Lionev website. Cost about $30-40K. Max tested range 456 miles.

someone should have had a 'crash' in one and then hide it away somewhere. what a shame, most people would be driving an electric car now if it was advertised right. at least an audi a2 1.4tdi can get 70+MPG (uk gallon)
