  • Peter Lorre is such an amazing actor

  • @andresortegachusan9 What is that mean for Commissioner Madero, "Brother, you never said a truer word?"

  • @chr5210 what do you mean?

  • @andresortegachusan9 Twister says to Madero, "Brother, you never said a truer word." What is that mean?

  • @chr5210 it means his words are absolutely true and accurate.

  • @blarneyvenom Commissioner Madero should not say a truer word because Twister warns him to be quiet and keep Madero's mouth shut.

  • @andresortegachusan9 I like Peter Lorre. But Robert Lowery is not. I don't like Robert Lowery as Lt. George Bentley, nephew of the late Gov. Bentley.

  • I too have always enjoyed the Mr Moto films...thanks for taking the time to share this film with all of us who appreciate these wonderful old movies...thanks again

  • I have always been a fan of the Mr. Moto series. It is a film series that in my eyes is under-appreciated and greatly overlooked.

  • Great movie, full of action, adventure and humor. Good quality video as well

  • Thank you

  • Peter Lorre is a great actor!

  • @LucasIsLove Robert Lowery is not. Robert Lowery is not a great actor. Robert Lowery is a worst actor!

  • @chr5210 my comment it's not about Robert Lowery... It's about PETER LORRE. Btw...

  • @LucasIsLove I really hate Robert Lowery the actor, he is a terrible man as a jerk.

  • @chr5210 What is that mean for Commissioner Madero if Twister says, "Brother, you never said a truer word"?

  • You. You mean Sutter is a criminal who murdered Bentley and Graham, too?

  • A German Jew portraying a Japanese sleuth - what could be more natural!

Fun films, brought to a sudden halt due to anti Japanese sentiment in the US over their aggression in the far east.

  • What do you mean about Capt. Dahlen, "the man is dead 1:07:03?"

  • No, I didn't quite hear any reference to 'coffee' in any way ... though I could be wrong . . . But I did hear the word 'MUG' being used, about one of the 'crooks'. Mug would be the closet reference to coffee, I guess : )

  • I just found out that the song, "Java Jive' by the Ink Spots, mentions the name, 'Mr. Moto' in the song. And that it may imply to Mr. Moto (Peter Lorre) in Danger Island, possibly making some reference to 'coffee' somehow. As a Peter Lorre fan and to the song, Java Jive, I'm listening out very close to any such reference.

  • Why would Commissioner Gordon congratulating Mr. Moto for? For what? What for? What did Mr. Moto do?

  • And let him take potshots at us? It's a stupid question!

  • thank you so much for posting.......

I very much enjoy the Mr. Moto flicks

(although the stereotypes & hints of racism are a bit much........

a sign of those times, however...)

  • Why did Mr. Moto and Twister McGurk escape and broke the law since they are arrested? What crime did Mr. Moto and Twister McGurk committed first? Two of them are not criminals. They are innocent.

  • Who played Lt. George Bentley?

  • When the police and Commissioner Gordon got a cable saying that man was Shimura, a crook who impersonating Moto, and when they try to nabbed Mr. Moto and his accomplice Twister McGurk and Moto got away. Why did Mr. Moto and Twister McGurk escape? And why did they broke the law for since they were arrested? They didn't do anything wrong. Mr. Moto and Twister McGurk were framed by Commissioner Gordon. Mr. Gordon the one to blame. Moto and Twister is innocent.

  • Why would Commissioner Gordon ask saying "And let him take potshots at us?" What kind of a stupid question is it for Commissioner Gordon?

  • Damn right that Commissioner Gordon made a mistake for arresting Mr. Moto and his accomplice Twister McGurk!

  • What is the meaning "Brother, you never said a truer word?"

  • Why is Commissioner Gordon arresting Mr. Moto and his accomplice Twister McGurk for? What crime did they commit. Because of the fake the cablegram. Mr. Moto and Twister didn't commit a crime. Commissioner Gordon and the police can't take Mr. Moto and his pal Twister to jail! They were framed! Commissioner Gordon the one to blame! Commissioner Gordon is a disgrace! He should resign from the police commission and he is going to jail for what he did.

  • What is that mean to brother Commissioner Madero "you never said a truer word?" Twister always says that Mr. Madero not to say another word for what Mr Madero saying "You can consider yourselves fortunate to be still alive."

  • Why does Twister wanted to take a showers for, huh? You mean clothes is dirty of his suit? Tell me what exactly showers?

  • Comment removed

  • @harsishava I do understand because we're here to discuss for a debate about while watching the movie series Mr. Moto in Danger Island. And don't talk to me like that. Do you hear me? What is showers? Me for the showers? For what? Why the hell does Twister needed to take a shower for? Huh? Twister doesn't need a showers!

  • What is a fast boat equipped for a possible fight if Commisioner Gordon has one? What does Commissioner Gordon mean "Yes, but--?" If Moto says "there is no time to loose. We have to get back to the swamp at once." What about Twister? Saying "What again? With them serpents? Not me. Me for the," what? What else can Twister do if he doesn't go back together with a team to the swamp to find where Capt. Dahlen, Col. Castle and his daughter Joan is? What can Twister do if his clothes gets dirty?

  • Why would the two police officers arresting Mr. Moto and his accomplice Twister McGurk for? They can't take the two criminals away and lock them up. What is lock them up for? What is lock? Lock them up is a stupid and crazy word. Why did Commissioner Gordon do this to Mr. Moto and Twister? They didn't do anything wrong!

  • What have Commissioner Gordon done with Mr. Moto and Twister McGurk for? Commissioner Gordon framing Mr. Moto and Twister for a crime they didn't committed because the telegram was a fake. Shame on Commissioner Gordon.

  • Accomplice? What's that for Twister McGurk?

What's the matter with Twister saying things in front of Madero? Why's Madero being stupid? What is that mean for Twister "What again? With them serpents? Not me. Me for the what"? • @chr5210

In a buisness type way asking what your racket is is them wanting to know what you do for work. In a slang way asking you what your racket its is them asking what is the meaning behind your actions.

  • @hierish What is that mean anyway saying "What's your racket anyway?" Some kind of making any noise or something? What's got into the henchman Grant? Please tell me again what racket is? What did Mr Moto do?

  • @hierish Here, let me correct your spelling "b-u-s-i-n-e-s-s, business" Not "buisness", maybe you should focus to spell the word "business" in the dictionary and you'll learn to understand.

  • @chr5210 A racket is an illegal business, usually run as part of organized crime. Engaging in a racket is called racketeering.

Several forms of racket exist. The best-known is the protection racket, in which criminals demand money from businesses in exchange for the service of "protection" against crimes that the racketeers themselves instigate if unpaid (see extortion). A second well known example is the numbers racket, a form of illegal lottery.

  • Why did Commissioner Madero saying "You can consider yourselves fortunate to be still slive?" What is that mean "Brother, you never said a truer word?" What is that mean "truer word?" Why did Twister say that to his brother back? What did Commissioner Madero do? Madero should shut up.

  • @chr5210 since you like mr moto films (noticed your request to uploader on their channel re mr moto's gamble film), you might be interested in ionlinemovie - you can have just a month or pay for 3 mos at a time and watch or download (which means you get to KEEP) as many films as you want. they have lots of mr moto films on there as well as some of my other personal faves like charlie chan which of course keye luke was in some of those. enjoy! :)

  • When a film is this amusing, we don't mind it being the guy we know it's gonna be. Good show.

  • "Most men here think the Foxtrot is still the latest thing!"

Wow, talk about a dated joke, lol. Still a fun movie though. ;)

  • yeh, good wise asian sleuth action mystery in peurto rico !!! thanks for sharing !!!

  • @justlokng YOUR WELCOME, ALWAYS LIKED MR MOTO

  • @hedwaff007 What is the meaning, "Brother, you never said a truer word?" And what is truer?" Did Commissioner Madero did something wrong?" Did Twister ever tell Madero never to say another word?

  • @justlokng What is that mean to Commissioner Madero, "Brother, you never said a truer word?"

  • Well, what the hell is "pot shots?"

  • @chr5210 A random or easy shot

  • @hedwaff007 What is that mean to Commissioner Madero? "Brother, you never said a truer word?" What did Madero do? Madero shouldn't say another word. If he says "You can consider yourselves fortunate to be still alive?"

  • And let him take potshots at us? What kind of a stupid question is that for Commissioner Gordon? To hell with that damn potshots! Damn Commissioner Gordon! How dare he!

  • What again? With them serpents? Not me. Me for the what? What did Twister say? What happens if Twister is not going to go back to the swamp with Mr. Moto and the rest of the team? What does Twister going to do?

  • Did Twister saying "What, again? With them servants? Not me! Me for the showers!"

  • @chr5210 he did actually say serpents dispite his strange voice.

  • Mr. Moto didn't do anything. He didn't murder Governor Bentley and he didn't come here to arrest Joan Castle's father Col. Castle because of Joan Castle, why did she get angry at Mr. Moto like this? Joan should owe Mr. Moto an apology. The newspaper is wrong. And Commissioner Gordon, he the one to blame and framing Mr. Moto and Twister Mc Gurk of their arrest. Commissioner Gordon should be the one to get arrested and resigned from the San Juan Police. What, again? With them, what?

  • Thanks so much for uploading.

  • "Well Mr. Moto. I thought there was something phoney about you right from the start!"

You mean besides the fact that he's not really Japanese? ;)

  • 47:06 Poor Mr. Moto, he looks so crushed to be accused like that, lol.
