I looked on the GameSpot website and they had announced that they were making a new NFS that was going "back to its roots", well, good luck with that EA!
The only thing thats good about this game is the customization and that it has a shitload of nice rides. Other than that, this game aint so great. I hope EA will make the next NFS original with it's cop chasing and all and nice customization. Including a huge selection of nice. cars
Oh and why u all have somthinf to PS, for me its a PLAIN AWEESOME GAME, but not the best in da series, not so good as MW & U2.(And dont mark this whit BAD, caz everyone has his own style!!!!)
you do know that in the real world you can build a car and do anything with it, right? its not like if you build a drag car u can only drive in a straight line
you can actually drift w/ an evo in the game. theres a savegame you can get where you drift with ryo's drift evo. and you can even customize it. so, yes, you can drift w/ an evo. its sucks tho
Best part is 35 seconds in, all the way to the end... the slo-mo mixed with the perfectly timed music and the transition from real life to game graphics.

If it is sending kids back out to street race then make a version where you can race like you do in NFS Prostreet and make a version where you street race out in the streets. That way both kind of fans can enjoy the game and it will help Ea too!
I enjoyed the game, its a little sad how they never gave the ps2/wii bunch no damage. I think need for speed needs to bring it all together, from the every game post NFS:underground. theres alot of good feautres that have gone.

This game is really somewhat stupid, tracks are just straight, stereotypical and driving feels like sliding on ice with tree. It is absolutely nothing compared to other good racing games. The NFS games are dying, every new game is worse and worse. I dont know why are people still buying it...
Have any of you guys ever actually watched a real race not Nascar but a real race like the Rolex 24, if you do you'll see that it is mostly straights, but you guys are obviouslly retarded and only get your racing from video games, so get off your fat asses and get a job.

NFS was never about street racing, tuning, and cars under 50K until NFSU. before, it was about exotics, closed-circuit racing, (with a few cops here and there) and physics that actually made you THINK (god forbid) while driving.
this game steers the series back in the right direction.

EA does interesting every year. EA skate... A whole new skateboarding game experiance no doubt better than tony hawk. The racing games are still interesting as they add new modes/cars etc. Every year which makes it all the more interesting.

id say the best nfs games are as follows:
NFS Hot Pursuit 2 - for original gaming
NFS Underground+U2 - for introducing custom tuning
NFS most wanted - for cops and great story line
NFS carbon - for AutoSculpt(tm)

-The Need for Speed - True, all - out originality. it's still considered one of the best racing games of it's time.
-NFS 3: Hot Pursuit - the cops made it the ORIGINAL "running from the law" game.
-NFS High Stakes: lose the race, lose your car.
-lastly, NFS Carbon: tuning, cops, free roam, speedbreaker... very complete racing game.

NFS was never about street racing, tuning, and cars under 50K until NFSU. before, it was about exotics, closed-circuit racing, (with a few cops here and there) and physics that actually made you THINK (god forbid) while driving.
this game steers the series back in the right direction.

EA does interesting every year. EA skate... A whole new skateboarding game experiance no doubt better than tony hawk. The racing games are still interesting as they add new modes/cars etc. Every year which makes it all the more interesting.
