Oh yes, used canoes for years and the high center of gravity seating is what makes them unstable for the inexperienced canoeist. The Kaboat feels far different and more stable.
Have not had much time it on Lake Superior, first day out we had light wind with chop and with my son in front we would get an occasional hit from the spray. Nothing serious. While out on the calm day the Pictured Rocks tour boat was heading out and left a huge wake we watched come towards us. My son was in the inflatable kayak alongside me in the Kaboat. When the wake hit it was about 2ft and they just floated right over them.

Hi again,
Do you think Kaboats are considerably more stable than canoes (for example, a flatwater canoe)?
Thanks

Hi,
How does your Kaboat handle waves and wake?
Thanks
