Hi, we have our Physics students build many projects to better train them for graduate school. One of the topics that was suggested was mushroom clouds.

While researching mushroom cloud formation, we stumbled into a picture at wikipedia

We decided to reverse engineer it from the picture. Our students when they come back will be enlarging the hole to make bigger clouds.
