The heat of the Fire is equaled to 3 Nuclear bombs powered by the Hydrogen and the skin which was painted with gun powder and rocket fuel which is called Aluminum Bronze which burnt it down really quickly.

I like to point out that according to Wikipedia, the Lakehurst base is actually in Manchester Township, New Jersey. I live in New Jersey, that's about 25 miles from where I live in Princeton
