I just watched your latest video and had to come back to the beginning of your journey to just remind myself how absolutely far you've come over these last few years. I've been subbed since the beginning, and just sent a friend a link to your page. I think you'll be a great source of inspiration for him! Keep up the great work Allison! And thank you for always being real. S.

I was looking for something and came back across this video... I just have to tell you - I had to watch it again, you are a continual inspiration to me. You're such a sweetheart and you have such an amazing - bright - friendly spirit.... thank you for your contribution to this community - and for sharing your journey with all of us! :-) -Kristen
Maybe because it's emotional to see how far you have come, and how difficult things were for you and how much more capable you are now. You should be so proud of yourself. you've worked so hard to get where you are. I'm so happy for you. I am currently jumping through all the hoops pre-op. sometimes I get aggravated, then think to myself - it's good they take the precaution to make sure people are serious about it, and going to follow through afterward. For what it's worth - I'm SO proud of you!
I think so too...Thank you for being happy for me and for the support! I know jumping through the hoops can get annoying ,but it doesn't last for long...Hang in there:)
I am waiting for my date and I just starting waiting your you tube and it is bringing tears to my eyes. Ifs funny hope we all feel the same way about ourselves
Isn't it a blessing to know that this is what God wanted for you. My surgeon is a christian also and he has prayed with me and about me and for me. Congrats on getting heatlhy.God bless you
I'd just like to tell you that I came across your video a little while back and thought I'd seen your first posting. I think you're amazing and an inspiration. I waiting for a date for my own surgery (gastric sleeve), the wait is quite frustrating. You inspired me to prepare for afer the surgery. Oh yeah, I've purchased the chilled shaker - all the way from the USA, i'm in London UK. Very proud of you. Well done.
Thank you!! The waiting for surgery can be frustrating ,but I'll tell you it's well worth it in the end. I wish you the best with the process. I love your name by the way! Let's keep in touch :)
You look sooo amazingly wonderful... watching this first video of yours, I see your personality is the same... YOU R SOOO COOL! Keep up the good work and hopefully i'll get to meet you at one of the meet N greets! :-)
Just watched your 1 year anniversary video and cannot believe how different you look now. However, even with the differences, I am glad your personality has not changed. You sound and act exactly the same! Love it!
Hi allison my name is belinda and today on easter sunday i saw you video(march 14) and loved it. I also am a christian.live in the south and weigh 318 at 5'5, i am on the weight loss journey as well, started 4-4-09 im not having surgery but i can relate to everything u spoke about, i live in knoxville,tn. We bought a treadmill,i will be doing water aerobics as soon as my pool opens up at my apt.,u seem to be doing great GOD BLESS YOU
Allison I just saw your new videos... OMG you look fantastic! I am so happy you're thinning and getting healhier everyday. Keep up the good work. Fantastic!
Hi Allison, I totally understand when you said that as you have gotten larger your world has gotten smaller. That is how I feel. My starting weight was 419 pounds. Im trying weight watchers, but surgery is still an option. I will be watching your progress. Im looking forward to seeing wedding videos. All the best to you!
I just watched this first video of yours...your personality just shines through everywhere you go! Your sense of humor in every video makes me laugh! Your transformation is just amazing. You are an inspiration!
Thank you :) I'm glad my videos can help in some way as many others have helped me along the way too. I feel so much better than I did in this video most of all.
It's crazy to me when I see this video...I just don't remember myself being that big...I'm just happy that times are a changing :) Thank you for watching!
Allison, Yes we can do it together! I'm so happy that you took the first step! I look forward to going through your journey with you via videos! Good luck and God bless from a fellow Christian!!
Allison, I track with what you said about "as I became bigger, my life became smaller." I know what you mean. At my top, I was 265lb, and I came to appreciate how painful it is to walk and stand. People who have not been there think you can just start jogging at any weight, but there is no way when you are really heavy. Now I have a bad knee. I love water too. Thanks for this.
It's so true and I see it more than that I've lost some of the weight. I see more and more thing opening up for me and my life. Thank you for watching and for your comments !
I just found this video...your first one! You are such a sweetheart. Your videos are still full of fun and spirit but your body is SHRINKING woman! I love you bella!
Oh that was such a long time ago it seems....I'm still the same person ,but just a better version I think :) Love you !!! Thank you for always being here for me
"The bigger I get, the smaller my life is." (I may have not wrote it exactly but very close) I really can relate to that. It's a pretty big statement, when I just stop for a moment and consider it. Best wishes for continued success, Allison.
You have just won me over by telling what your weight is. Anyone with honesty is my friend. I would say my weight but I really do not know it. Nor do I want to lol! I've had TWO WLS and things didn't work out. I have not given up, though. So glad to meet you, Allison.
I like your personality. Your so cute. My sister had this surgery...Oh about 4-5 years ago. She lost alot, however, gained a lot of it back...BUT NOTHING LIKE HOW IT WAS BEFORE THE SURGERY!!! She is doing good, but she always ate the wrong food POST_OP. The thing I noticed was that of all the people I know who had the surgery, it seems like they never delt with the real issue of why they was overeating period. And had hard times POST_OP, thinking there problems were going to vanish.
Thank you :) Some folks do think you can just continue to eat the way you did prior to surgery ,but it's just not true. You really have to change the way you eat and not just the amount. The problems don't vanish you're right :)
Isn't it great that Jesus loved us first. Inspite of ourselves. I am looking at some of your videos, this is the first one. So i can see where you started.
Hey, Alison, I'm just catching up on your videos but since you mentioned Mary H. Clark books I just thought I would mention another author you may enjoy. "The Cat Who..." books by Lillian Jackson Braun. I love these books especially the audio due to the guy who reads them is exactly what I would assume the main character sounds like. My mom is a fan of MHC & doesn't like "The Cat Who..." books so it is just depends on the person I guess. Good luck.
Kristea...Yea I love MHC for sure. I do have a couple of the cat books ,but I haven't read them yet...I guess I'll just have to do that :) I prefer the audio books too because it makes it much more interesting to hear someone read it. Thanks for the post!
I am so excited for you!!! I love your attitude! I am one yr. post op.. you can check out my progress at workingongfreedom dot blogspot dot com (yes the extra g is supposed to be there. :) )
