1st round: All four Ultras against Collossi, all zerglings and Infestor against Immortal(Neural Parasite Immortal then attack it so you lose no zerglings), Hydras V. Voids
2nd Round: All Roaches V. Zealots, Mutas and Infestor V. Voids(Fungal Growth then Neural Parasite on one Void)
3rd Round: One Ultralisk to tank fire then pull back w/ four Brood Lords, then all Roaches, three Ultras, and an Infestor(Fungal Growth on Zealots), then all Corrupters w/ Corruption on Carriers.
Just a quick tip for anyone who reads this, it is also a good idea to burroqw the three ultras in the first round in a triangular configuration, and when the collosi get into the middle of the triangle, unburrow all of the ultras. The collosi can not focus fire/splash damage any of the ultras this way and I didn't even have to burrow any or micro.
how can you dislike a guy's vid that is helping you ? i can't understand this motherfucking shitheads omg the guy trying to help and he succeded in that so.GTFO H8trs
@KerrigaNstarr Maybe they didn't like the guide? Ever think that? I don't piss myself whenever someone dislikes one of my videos, because I actually understand the fact that people have different opinions. Idk who raised you kid, but you don't get to hate everyone that disagrees with you.
okay so the terran one I got pissed at a rage quit. I managed to get passed it with the tutorial from this guy. The protoss one really pissed me off. I got gold in that. Then I got to the zerg. I was cursing at the computer. 2 UNITS. JUST 2 UNIT FUCKING UNITS! So then finally after watching this over and over I got it down and did it. I was fucking happy. These challenges are hard... O.o you deserve my sub for helping me through that bullshit.
@CforCheng I eventually got it by spreading the hydras a bit farther back and putting the infestor burrowed up front, pop up and snatch a voidray from behind, and just tried it over and over and over and over until I was able to micro the hydras well enough and lose like only 2
Zerg is definitely the easiest, just abuse burrow and you can get 0 deaths easy as long as you pull the damaged mutas and corruptors. Also I used the infestor for NP against the immortal.
I just used neural on the immortal and attack commanded it with the lings. Then relied on epic burrow action with the hydras xD.
on round 2 I give some roaches to the top force for support and the infestor for splitting the voids in pairs with fungal.
on round 3 I let the roaches go down together with the ultras and a broodlord while the rest goes to the middle (struggling to focus fire dem archons).
corruptors do the last job done but I give them infestor support with neural anyways
Just a tip. On round 2, don't send the infestor to help the roaches. Send it to the hydras. For the roaches, get them all to attack the zealots and when some is close to die (yellow/orange bar is less risky) burrow them all... they will regen ultra fast, back to the green bar, unburrow them soon after and keep repeating until they all die.
Then you can have the infestor help with neural on the mutas x rays
for round 1 i just lobbed a whole bunch of infested terran in the front, and they attack those, while my hydras attacked from the back, and then burrowed once they were getting attacked, cuz iunno how to do the mind control thing
I used that one, that can controal units, the place i thought it was most needed. And the good thing with zerg, is they can burrow. So i burrowed when it looked like one was about to die, then i would click it off and unburrow those that where fine. This also works very well with roches, as they reg very fast, burrowed. I think it was zerg, where i lost only 2 units
You can actually use the Infestor to controll the immortal and just A the zerglings to kick his ass, no losses. and use the tank Ultralisk to help with the collosus wave
Try this for Round 3: For Immortal/Stalkers, leave all your Guardians down here except 1. Send it up to the Z/A group for initial tanking and extra punch. DO NOT sit any Ultralisks down here. Their damage is not necessary to complete this and you're risking your casualty count. Set up a kill sequence on the Stalkers, micro, watch as the Immortals QQ and try to take care of the Guardian's projectiles unsuccessfully. Do the Zealot/Archons as shown above with your new extra firepower. Enjoy!
I can't get the second part of the third round. Even using your setup. For some reason, my guys aren't able to take out everyone in time. Even when using Fungal Growth.
@Jwild628 Make sure to make them focus fire on the target in the position to allow the most "Cleave Damage." If they are making a "wall" of 3 units, pick the Colossus in the middle of the wall. I just did it today and they all melted, no trouble.
Amazing how kiting only works against someone who just uses the "attack" command and doesn't watch their units... Still, it works against the computer, so I guess it's good.
Can also use infestor and make 8 marines in front to take the damage from voidrays. DIdn't lose one hydralisk and also did not micro at all other than focus fire.
in round 3 send 3-4 flying broodlords to the barier before pressing ready button. attack immortal first and then just click every enemy so that they are occupied. it might take time but noone shot air because they are all killing those little things on ground, this way you spare ultralisks for archons. it might take a lot of time but mision is not timelimited.
Started a Starcraft 2 blog where I display Tournaments, discuss strategy, news, and all things related to the Starcraft world / community. check it out:
On round three a couple of broodlords did the job for me, just moving one back ocassionally. the bloodlings kept tanking all units (the sentries and immortals)
@Sunblade12 It's really hard to do. You have to hold alt and notice the ones with decreasing hp. Alt displays all the hp bars, and you have to click that unit and pull it back immediately, once it goes past the yellow.
#1#2 and #3 .. are so much easier for me then for you i dont know but seems like they doing less dmg or something i need like no micro at all only at the muta vs void rays^^
Last round, just look at the tips. Ultra+Roach+Infestor for the middle, simply fungal growth as many units as possible, and you can basically attack move AS LONG AS the ultras tank. incredibly easy. meanwhile, With 0 burrowing and basically literally no micro i never lose a guy there. Then on the stalker/immortal, 5 broodlords will literally take 0 dmg as they take them down.
And in the first round, simply use the lings+ the infestor and neural parasite. No ultra diversion required

Sweet! It for some reason never occurred to me that you could neural parasite then burrow real quick. Now it actually will serve a purpose for me. Also, I keep forgetting that alt shows health on all units, which is much more effective than trying to find which one is getting hit. Thanks again for the little tips! :D
@LostRaider6378 You might also like having all of the units or only selected units' health bars come up. The settings menu allows you to pick one of those three options for displaying health ^^

in round 1 of this challenge u could have placed 3 brood lords and have them fly slightly on over the rocks in the bottom of the screen and nothing will attack them and the enemies will just sit there and attack the broodlings as they come in.
Round 2 - if you want, you can kite the zealots forever with one ultra, and 2-3 mutas to kill every one of those zealots. This frees up the infestor to infested marines the voidrays, and a crapload of burrow-moved roaches for the stalkers.
Thank you Mr.Psy, really appreciate the help !

No ultra diversion required

roaches can kite the zealots all alone without losing anything with no burrow or infestors
EtherStar555 1 year ago
in round 1 of this challenge u could have placed 3 brood lords and have them fly slightly on over the rocks in the bottom of the screen and nothing will attack them and the enemies will just sit there and attack the broodlings as they come in.

Round 2 - if you want, you can kite the zealots forever with one ultra, and 2-3 mutas to kill every one of those zealots. This frees up the infestor to infested marines the voidrays, and a crapload of burrow-moved roaches for the stalkers.
I like your round 3 composition

How did you have the camera follow the ultrallisk at 0:53?
SnakezPlaneZ 1 year ago
@SnakezPlaneZ Crtl+Shift+f forces the camera to follow the selected unit.
