  • The slide is not polymer

  • Does it have metal guide rails or slide on the polymer frame?

  • @bdix1985 the slide is polymer, Its a downside, but it hasn't given me any problems yet so we will wait and see how it holds up over time

  • I enjoy my CZ P-07 in .40 cal. The omega trigger is nice (not at first, though). After some break-in, it's become very sweet. Gotta love the light weight polymer frame for guys who have sweaty palms.

  • @AboveMediocrity2010 yes, the frame is an awesome improvement, the textured grips are pretty great compared to a regular smooth grip.

  • My son has a CZ P07 Omega trigger wuld not depress and press on it and no bang. we thought it was break in but after 200 rnds same shit. We sent it to CZ they did not charge and free postage but had to drive 40 minutes to UPS. Then the pin came out of the inside of slide near chamber lucky gunsmith at Shoot Straight didn't charge to fix. Can't find an IWB holster for it that will fit a laser light. Do u know of one. Wish they made a compress guide rod Spring is a bitch to put back wn cleaning.

  • It is ambidextrous u can take out the mag release and put it on the other side

  • Thanks for the response. it does seem as if most gun companies are trying to make more money off their customers by charging too much for extras like mags. Good quality comes at a price, but come on...$40 or so for a mag!? At least they aren't as bad as they used to be when hi-cap mags cost more because of the 10 round limit. Again, thanks for the response and good job on the video. No need to reply.

  • @SpookeyEyeGhost I know you said no need for a reply but I agree with you 40$ isn't that expensive....but they could be sooo much cheaper, especially with surplus guns like the 75 and 83 where magazines should be plentyful due to the popularity of those guns world wide. Thanks for the input man and the comments, very constructive and very informative stuff.

  • Nice job on the review. These are nice guns. But, have you checked out the price on spare Mags for ANY CZ handgun? one dissagrement though, the price is nice and low, in line with some others, so it is in the reach of people looking for a gun on a budget.Especaly compared to similar guns that cost a couple hundred more.

  • @SpookeyEyeGhost yea i saw the mecgar cz 75b mags were low, but the po7 mags ive found are like 43$ as well especially finding them for cheap in local places is pretty hard. Locally the cz 82 mags cost around 34 to 40 $

  • how did you go about cleaning off the oil that was caked on when you first got it? i see in lots of reviews especialy ones that are right out of the box reviews, say that its very oily but they never explain how to get it off, can you help me here?

  • @mrmason1208 well I do this with every gun I get, i clean them all the same way when they are fresh out of the box. I just wipe all the excess cosmoline/oil off with a couple of cleaning patches until my patches are dry then ill clean it with some slovent, that includes the barrel, then I reapply some hoppes oil or whatever other brand I have laying around, break free works as well. I just treat it as I'm cleaning it like i just got done shooting it.

  • @mrmason1208 Buy a can of Degreaser, when you take the gun out of the box, field strip it, then hose everything down with the Dgrsr, not the frame though, unless the Dgrsr is polymer safe. I've been doing this for a few years, works great. then just clean the barrel as normal, lube and reassemble. Great time savor.Hope this helps.

  • @mrmason1208 Try buying a can of polymer safe degreaser. Field strip the new gun, and hose everything down. Then run a few patches down the barrel, lube and reassemble. Saves time and works great.

  • Excellent review! I feel your pain about the guide-rod and spring! :D I literally hate to put it back together. Other than that, the DUTY's an awesome weapon! Very accurate and reliable. Have put about 400 rounds through mine as well, no hiccups whatsoever! Last range session, shot 49/50 @ 15 meters.

By the way, to remove the brass ejection marks on the slide right near the ejection port, use a copper brush gently and it'll do the trick and you won't get ticked off at the ugly mark :)

  • @AnthraxPG Hey thanks for the tip and the comment, if your a cz fan I have one more cz review I'm going to do and thats over the cz 75 compact something to look forward too.

  • @ShoeAlmighty Why is this crap?

  • Sweet update. Concise yet complete. Just got my duty (.40 S+W) and it is sswweett!! Probably have bout 200 rounds thru to date and hope to shoot more tmrw.

Question for you: do you have a holster for this? Having trouble finding an IWB. Even called CZ, they said they have nothing yet but referred me to a couple of after-market sites.

Do you own any other CZs?

  • @UL3g3nd I was actually going to order a leg holster from cz-usa, but I will check around. You're best bet is checkin the places they gave you, but I will check around and keep an eye open.

  • @UL3g3nd Hey bud, I found a sight that has some decent looking IWB holsters at a semi decent price considering the limited sources of holsters for this gun. check out alabama holsters .com and I checked already if they make custom holsters for the cz po7 and they do, they look pretty sturdy, but a lil bit pricey, hope this helps. Also try and see if you can find someone who will make you a custom kydex holster, probably wayyy cheaper.

  • as far as reliablity I haven't had any issues with reliablity dealing with cz firearms and I believe this is going to be just as reliable, as far as barrel life I have put over 2000 rounds in my cz 75 and it's still looking fine, and since the cz p07 is based on the same design I believe it wil perform just as well. I honestly cant say how long they will last though. I would say that this po7 is or could be in the same leauge as the glock as far as reliability what country are you from?

  • @TheRGreviews Thanx for the response. actually i wanted to purchase it, so wanted an idea from some one experienced with it. what do u think what is P07 DUTY Barrel life? and over all gun life, in terms on bullets.if any idea do leme know. actually in our country it costs about $1000 for a P07 Duty, glock 19 costs $4000. so can v compare this P07 Duty with glock in durability and reliability.

  • how is p07 performance? accuracy? and firing after few thousand rounds

  • @alamgir84 well it is still in its break in period, but at this point I have had no failure to fires or failure to feed, and for a break in period with only about four or fivehundred rounds throught it I would say the performance is top notch, accuracy I keep decent groups on paper, but hitting reactive targets I hardly ever miss, It's really well balanced and fits firm in the hand so at that point the accuracy is up to the shooter

  • Awesome vid....keep em coming

  • @FantomShooter we are just getting started, we still have over twenty guns that we are planning reviews on. we are glad you liked the vid, hope you stick around for the ones coming.

  • @TheRGreviews I plan on it...... :-)
