It didn't look like you were allocating unsaved wounds properly. If the Ork bikes took 3 wounds and the bikes have two wounds each, you must remove full models first, so instead of giving each model a wound, you must remove one model and give another a wound marker. Unless I missed something... The video was very nicely done though, it was clear and did not shake.
i have a question.....right now i only have one unopened space marine group, and i was wondering, do you need to have all the same army? or can you mix a few together? im guessing not but i wanted to make sure. thanks
@devilfella We rolled on the new missions, and ended up getting annihilation, so there were no objectives, just points of dudes killed. That could be very inaccurate, as I've played annihilation only 1-2 times now.
In the new edition kill points are used instead of victory points. You get a kill point for every unit, vehicle and independent character killed. Person with the most at the end wins, equal points is a draw.
Aaah, we were just tallying up points killed, with broken units giving up full points, and immobilized vehicles giving half points. In kill points, I would've won out vs. the tau, as killed my lootas, bikes, battlewagon and a shoota squad, and I killed the ethereal, retinue, hammerhead, firewarriors, pathfinders. Thanks for pointing out our error there.
Hey, first off thanks for the report - nice recaps and pace of the review. My friend plays Tau, so this helps :)
About kill points - I like em because it prevents ppl from ALWAYS taking the bare minimum for squads to get more capturing units (now only troops) as well as versatility in movement and targeting
With older victory points you would still want to split up as much as possible since point value is all that's measured. Now unit # get's attention.
jey those red paint jobs dont look very red =D, very nice painted tau. the orks that are painted look very nice though. keep up with these reports they are very good
