  • We've found THE best way to erase is using a microfiber cloth and whiteboard cleaner spray. The KEY is to REALLY prep the surface to be as smooth as possible. We've now down 3 walls with this paint and our best result came from the wall we spent the most prep time on...the smoother you can make the surface the better. ALSO use as many coats of the paint as you can. We used foam rollers to apply the paint.

I would recommend a primer coat for sure.

  • Can you use the winded spray to erase or would that mess it up?

  • Did you use a white latex primer prior to applying the Rust-Oleum? I put up a can of it last night in a 5'x5' square on a textured drywall painted a lighter shade than your wall and I'm not entirely impressed with the saturation. The box says primer is required only if you're applying to a new piece of drywall. I think I should have applied the primer anyway...

  • He says 3 coats were applied to get these results, using Rust-oleum Specialty Dry Erase.

  • Bullshit!

  • how many cans, and how did you apply it.
