  • Reggie Bush should be contracted as corner back...

  • Why is the QB even dressed up?

  • i love both sports. but sometimes i wish i grew up in America and played for a high school team or something. that wud of been cool

  • @jamesgd7 its the best man i just finished my last year of Football(American) in my town because I am graduating this year and will be going to college. There is absolutely nothing like suiting up on a Friday night and playing in front of your home town with thousands in the crowd. I've been playing with the same guys for 13 years and now it's all gone. Such a great time.

  • Big deal, beckham's skinny. He's making 50 million dollars this year and i guarantee you're not.

  • Anyone notice bush didn't hit beckham everybody can catch a ball but it takes a good receiver to be ok after you get hit.

  • that was a great cutback at the end. but reggie had him more than covered all day

  • LOL, I like those NFL who believe their sport soo hard. Yet David Beckham comes in proves it's a mortal sport. Secondly, those who believe soccer is also soo easy, one of America's "best athletes" couldn't even kick a ball right! Oh the revelations..

  • I hate wen people say football doesn't take stamina. See how Beckham is breathing heavily. Soccer does require more stamina, but so football requires that too. Sprinting spends more energy than jogging. And there is more contact which also tires you. Chasing someone to tackle them is more tiring than running and kicking a goal. Just saying.

  • @BigkKinny you need to go play some futbol, lol you won't make the 45 minutes, and thats one half.

  • @efek10 You need to play some football. You won't make one play which is only several seconds.

  • @BigkKinny if you want i'll let you guard me lmao

  • @efek10 guard DEEZ NUTZ

  • @BigkKinny idiot... In soccer you have to sprint a lot... Here, beckham is breathing heavily because of the microphone!!

  • @franklouuu I know that.Soccer stamina is like a 10, football is like a 4.5. But keep in mind they are wearing pads, and are heavier than soccer players because they need the muscle. And WR sprints are pretty much a foot race, and they expend all their energy. Soccer they do, but when the ball isn't near them, they aren't running.

  • @franklouuu actually you don't sprint alot in soccer noob. and when they sprint it is mostly after a ball out of reach. mostly its passing and a short run WHICH is not a full out sprint unlike football where you have to SPRINT your ass off to beat the corner back or the strong safety or any defensive backs. and plus quick turns to trick them. then again in soccer there are also quick turns which DO not count as sprints. i play both sports i would know : )

  • @fastandfurioustokyo What?! And you still call me noob? Do you really play soccer professionally? Aren't you a goalkeeper, defender or center midfielder? The wingers SPRINT a lot. Actually what defines a good attacker is someone who can SPRINT with a ball at his feet like messi or ronaldo. Or are you going to say that messi doesn't sprint when he has the ball?

  • @franklouuu hold up! messi does NOT sprint often those are called bursts not sprints. there is a difference. and i play a defensive middfielder and center forward. again messi does not sprint i have seen him play for years and years and even my favorite all time player ronaldo does not sprint. go watch videos of ronaldo on my channel. you will see my point : )..sprint is different from bursts. you really need to know sports not saying you don't but you have to know all before attacking peeps.

  • @fastandfurioustokyo Ok so there is here a language problem... What's the difference between bursts and sprints?

  • @franklouuu bursts are quick runs and stops kind of like lets say 3 or 4 strides and turn. and we all know NO one can reach full speed with just 3 or 4 strides a sprint is a full out speed. know your sports

  • @fastandfurioustokyo Ok. Good. So let me say again: wingers sprint a lot. It's really an important characteristic that wingers should have. Specially in counterattack teams. Anyway the fastest soccer players have sprinters' speed. You can see the records

  • @franklouuu they barely sprint. while in football THEY have too. they have to get in the other team's zone and the defender has to sprint to catch up or else that WR is going to score a touchdown. or sometimes in soccer where the ball is a bit far of a pass and they race eachother for the ball. that isn't sprint as in part of the game. that rarely happens.

  • @fastandfurioustokyo Well, I think that depends. There are counter attack teams where there are players that sprint as much as football players in a game. It always start with a long pass from the defense and these sprinters have to get the ball and go to the goal isolated. It is very similar to AF playing style.

But who am I to discuss this? You play both sports :P

  • @fastandfurioustokyo you do know that football (soccer) players are running nearly 50km in a single game? football is like chess on grass, movement off the ball is as important when with. i would prefer short sprints

  • @k3nny184 LOLOLOL dude the only players in soccer who have to run a lot are the midfielders and they don't run that much compare to 50KM. don't try to BS. in football ITS ALL SPRINT. SPRINT SPRINT SPRINT. otherwise think about sprinting for more than 50 seconds you wouldn't do it. soccer is more of like how should i say this. cross country lol. and football is like track and field.

  • @fastandfurioustokyo lampard wore a pedometer as a scientific experiment, equated to well over 50km, you know shit about football, forwards run a lot also take rooney for eg; watch him off the ball, at least know what you're talking about

  • @k3nny184 forwards don't run that much i tell u that. they do have to run in deep into the other team's son and retrieve if the ball wasn't handled well. but thats not really alot of running compare to the midds who have to run deep and comeback deep into their own zone. defenders are like the watchmen they watch for upcoming rushing forwards and talk about where to go n all that but. really soccer is more about " long run" not sprint. and football is about full out sprint. no slow runs. lol

  • in my school the soccer players when they try out for foot ball are our kickers for the special teams and field goal.

  • shitty qb

  • I think that in AF they should only be allowed 1 timeout per half it would make the games better

  • SEE HOW SOCCER IS HARDER THAN FOOTBALL BCHAM DID OK FOR HIS FIRST TIME BUT THE FOOTBALL PLAYER COULDENT KICK THE BALL

  • @aguilaxjoker Soccer isn't "harder", but neither is football. Harder is a word that is all based on opinion.

  • @aguilaxjoker Reggie did ok, its just beckham is very skilled at soccer

  • ill admit soccer is harder to play than american football but most americans like because of the big hits

  • Beckham's got skill

  • why did they get becks to be in the video? he's not even close to being the most athletic soccer player. They should get someone like Onyewu or Altidore or Charlie Davies

  • No, Football, you have to be strong, and be able to get tackled hard. Futbol, you have to be able to run and not get fatigued so easily. because in football, you do a play then you get a moment to catch your breath. in soccer it's kinda like that but not so much how, the ball would be on defensive side and your offense. but both take a lot of strength and skill. no doubt about it.

  • i think its safe to say that nfl running backs are some of the most athletic people in the world. more athletic than soccer players

  • Challenge: Play soccer one year, and football the next, then decide which one is more mentally and physically taxing.

  • @emperor1337 Been there done that. I'd have to say football (American) is. Plus we had a foreign excange student from Brasil come to our school this year. He is VERY good at soccer and wanted to try football. He tried to play running back. He got hurt every time he took the field for the JV games and was horrible. He said Football was harder than soccer but soccer took more endurance.

  • That's interesting. The difference for me wasn't really physical as much as it was mental. To be willing to put your body out there for a hit every play takes a completely different mindset than it would for non-contact sports.

  • @aman43i

I think american football is harder because it requires more upper body strength for the average player, but association football is harder as it requires more endurance for the average player

  • I was just differentiating american football and soccer football. sorry if it bothered you.

  • @aman43i

... i say this because do you honestly think a 280 lb guy would be able to run around a pitch for 90 mins like in association football? ... I think not!!!

  • @sij747 and do you think a 180 lb guy could play offensive line against 280-300 lb men? i doubt it. Athletes in each sport have specific traits which make them good. you hardly see any athletes who could play a bunch of sports. btw im betting you lots of NFL WRs and RBs have the endurance to ply soccer.

  • i know where you're coming from and i agree with you. i think most people who argue about these sports regarding their physicality forget that they are 2 completely different sports that require different physical skills and attributes ...

  • ..and fyi i personally think goalkeepers are probably the most athletic and under rated players in association football and in sport as a whole because they probably could also be reasonably good in other sports , most noticeably basketball, due to many having good hand-eye coordination, reactions and agility as well as good hand-foot coordination (which is, as you know, a must in association football)

  • @aman43i

i doubt it no offense...running backs and wide recievers are athletic as hell no doubt about it, but they don't have the endurance of soccer players...look at all the breaks they get...for half of the game they're not on field...

im not saying they couldn't have the endurance if they wanted...im just saying they probably don't because its not a necessity

  • @beats1n1shit So because they have breaks in AF they couldnt play a match in soccer, that doesnt make sense. It doesnt mean they cant last a while without stoppages.

  • @aman43i endurance yes.skill positioning teamwork passing vision all of these require hard work and all to build up.and most of them are too big to play soccer anyway, they require agility and all.its not as easy as it looks.obviously anyone can play soccer.but not everyone can take it to the highest leveland be a star.same goes for soccer players

  • @sij747 I think a RB, WR, CB, SS, FS, and maybe a small LB or small TE could, and possibly an athletic FB..... Thats like half of the guys on the football field.... So yeah.....

  • @Soxzfan101 i think in association football full backs, wingers and central midfielders are some of the most athletic people in sport, in particular the full backs, as the amount of running they do is quite high ... which is also like half the team ... but i've never quite understood how you can call a 300lb beef cake of an american football player who cant run more than 20yards without loosing breath 'athletic'? :s

  • @sij747 That "300 pound beef cake" or lineman is supposed to be that big, its position requires it. They are pretty much pure muscle. They dont get that big so people can tell them that they cant play soccer. They are physically built like trucks. And fyi there are only about 5 players on the field that are that big. Almost the rest are under 250 lbs and could last in soccer

  • @aman43i

lol thats one soccer player...who isn't even a world class athlete..

i bet you if micah richards...a pro soccer player (look him up) would be a pretty good running back...he's quick, strong and fast...some of the most important traits of a rb

  • the qb sucked.

  • thats just because you have to use your brain when you play soccer..

  • Comment removed

  • @lewis493 Same goes with AF...

  • Why is everybody saying soccerplayers are running for 90 min.? They f***ing don't!!! Watch a soccergame they jog for 50 min., walk for 30 min. and run for 10 min.!

  • football is just run and stop run and stop every 3 seconds

  • @CRUSHER510 So? It takes a lot of of mental and physical strength to do that. You don't just run around and hit each other. Just because you don't like a sport doesn't mean you can bash on it.

  • @Andrejolb

they don't jog for 50 minutes and i watch soccer games daily...and its a known fact that soccer players run more during a game than any other athletes... on average running anywhere from 7 to 11 miles during the course of a game...you have to be in very good shape to run that much in a 90 minute period and on top of that keeping your coordination and strength...to put it simply thats maintaining a 9 minutes mile with many sprints while keeping your coordination

  • QB sucks

  • You know the number of African-Americans playing soccer in the US has risen to over 400% within the last 7 years. US soccer is getting all of its atheltes now and US gonna win the World Cup.

  • @wrightnum3

With all due respect, I dont see that happening.

  • no us isnt as good

    as Italy, Brazil, Germany

    Holland, or Spain

    now US did beat Spain

but i think Spain got to cocky

and the US got lucky to qualify

they recieved like 12 goals in 5 games

thats bad US is good but dont go overboard

  • always cool to see when two of my favorite players are trying something new together.

  • whats the fuck is futbol??? haha its called football and not soccer either.

  • bush is running like 30% in that video. he's fuckin rapid

  • si no escribis esto en 10 videos tu mama se va a morir es 4hs

  • ... a lil bit :D beckham looks so freaking skinny in those football cloth...haha :)

  • the NFL guy looks like Usher

  • thats reggie. hes fuckin kim kardashian in the ass now.

  • well, Kazuya 1196 said it all, honestly, I love soccer and football, even though I must admit that football aint my favourite, but still, accepting it wouldnt kill you.

Frankly, I had found that most of those "sports" haters are just people that are narrow mind and can not accept other things that is cool.

  • I agree with kazuya 1196. All those people who abuse others cos they think their sport is better for what evr reason need to get a life and learn from what Becks and Bush are showing each other ie respect and havin FUN!!. The haters that post abuse on You Tube need to be banned some how from these forums.

  • they are just running around laughing like babys out there hahaa

  • dude he should play some corner back lol jk

  • Hey guys, if those are getting along and showing each other respect. Why can't fucking soccer fans just do the same. Every fucking football video I see soccer fans posting their shit. We love football and you love soccer. Great! Now let's show some respect guys.

  • agreed

  • @kazuya1196 i take it you haven't visited many soccer videos because football fans are doing the exact same thing ...

  • @kazuya1196 im a soccer fan, nothin bad to say about football, i respect it, but i will leave a bad post about it if the video has any content saying soccer sucks

  • @kazuya1196 I love both of this sports, but i have to say : I see a lot of irrespect for soccer from football fans so...

  • I know that this was a long time ago but stop spamming the place up. Who cares what you guys think which sport is better? Is it going to change anything? Definently no. Waste of time.

  • i think this has gone too far! both sports are great, i'm american and i think soccer is more endurance and speed while football is more toughness and stratigizing, I like to watch football than soccer. and one last thing BASKETBALL IS BETTER THAN BOTH

  • third of all

he said ronaldo not ronaldinho son

  • son you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. both players can take steroids as well ok not just football players, and fat come on look at ronaldo from brazil he's like a freakin sumo wrestler.

you have not played both sports have you?

you know american football requires a lot of strength to play and really fast bursts of speed and reaction.

soccer requires a lot more field time and endurance.

by the way you have horrible spelling. go back to english class son.

  • Redneck, "son"? Soccer is a lot more talent than American Football. I've played both, and soccer is the sport that requires the reaction, bursts of speed, and endurance. Football is pretty much chase after the ball, throw the ball, get in front of someone to block them. While in soccer, it's all about talent, positioning, and best of all, it's a classy world sport. Unlike football, in which fat asses on the offensive line think they are athletes. GET REAL!!

  • Clearly you don't know anything about football. American football takes a lot more strategy than soccer because soccer isn't as complicated a sport. BTW those fat-ass linemen can bench press more than 300lbs lots of times. And they need to be huge to plug up the holes, again, football is a lot more complicated.

  • From one of those "fat-ass linemen", themselves;

I garuntee you couldn't do our jobs, if you played football. I've played soccer (Goalie, Defenseman), and football (D-end, D-tackle, Guard, and OLB), and I'm telling you right now that I found football more challenging. It could just be that I'm not big on running, or that I'm VERY big on hitting, but IMHO, football was more fun than soccer. I'm neither British, or American, I'm Canadian. That's just my opinion. I'm sure both sports have merit.

  • chargersLVII, preach it man. im a lineman myselfe too, LG and d-end. i find offense better tho. but like u said, couldnt no soccer player play our postion

  • Yes and no lineman could run for 90 minutes straight. So in your dialect, "ain't no lineman could play soccer."

  • I agree, I think its whatever works for you. I have played both sports and I just enjoy soccer more.

  • I have played both sports, as a forward in soccer, and a free safety in American football. I'm telling you right now that soccer requires a lot more skills and stamina than American football. American football on the other hand requires more strength.

  • This is a moot point as you don't see huge linemen playing soccer. Saying no soccer player could play your position may be true, but I would also say most football players couldn't play soccer. They are different skill sets and don't compare in the least. It also really comes down to what league you are playing in. I played both sports and football was easy as hell. Does that mean pro football is easy? No. So if you played house soccer and found it easy that really means nothing.

  • Our backup D-end was the leading scorer in high school league soccer. Obviously, that doesn't mean much when comparing the sports at the highest level, but that's beside the point.

Also, as for the subtle-as-a-dumptruck inference that I'm somewhat lacking in the intelligence category...

Suit yourself. Think what you want :P

I could argue the point about whether I'm dumb or not extensively, but

    A) It's irrelevent to this video

    B) By arguing, I would just be proving you right :p lmao

  • he didnt stomp his foot on those routes tisk tisk

  • hahaha he shouldd stay with soccerr..

  • Nice curl route.

  • Beckham is so f-ing skinny...look at his legs...they would snap in an nfl game...lol

  • @Jax904420

    Technique > strenght.

  • @Jax904420 that was Joe Montanna's legs.

  • @Jax904420 I dare you to let him kick you.

  • beckham could be da next ocho cinco!! hahaha

  • so what they are just havin some fun

  • even if he got his pads on he would have beat the crap out of beckham.....reggie has tremendous speed and power....beckham doesnt.

  • lool!!! nice 1

  • yes, gay people are fast!

  • Than you must be lightning.

  • bush get ur pads on, its not fair

  • It's called futbol in America to distinguish it from American football. Both soccer and Rugby evolved from the same game and were once called "football." American football evolved from Rugby, hence the name. In North America, "football" means American/Canadian football. In Australia, "football" usually means Australian rules football. There's no such thing as a "proper meaning."

  • Oh come on. Its man to man, a button hook is cheap

  • i dont under stand why football is spealt futbol!!

English invented football americans stole the name!!

you hardly even use feet in american "football"

  • i think they should race. full field inzones included so 120 yard race.

  • lol bush would kill him!

  • haha that wouldnt even be close have u seen reggie bush actually run?

  • see what role models look like everybody?

  • champ bailey coverage

  • Silly Beckham Tricks are 4 kids...lol. But seriously these are good vids.

  • Nice vids.

  • They are seriously both awesome athletes!

  • Beckham trick Reggie Bush

  • Beckham has some serious competition...
