This was the last song to close out the Local 101 show (the Pumpkins are from Chicago), but after that the DJs thought it would be fitting to end Q101 with the song that started Q101 - "Friday Night I'm in Love" by The Cure. That song was the first song they ever played, which is why they chose it to also be the last song they ever played.

Saw this vid when it first came, i would have been about five. Honestly, one of the few vids i have always remembered - even a kid remembers stuff like this. If only i'd known how much i would grow to adore these guys... I kind of guess they were always there until i stepped back and actually payed attention. I love that it's hard to define Tonight Tonight's genre as well - like it's entitled to it's own esteem, and can't be defined. Effing brilliant - if there was a genre, this belongs in it.
