@GongKilluminati this was probably done in Europe where drivers understand the left lane is for passing/high speed travel, not cruising. they understand there will be people like this on the roads so they stay out of the left lane unless it is necessary for them to use it to pass
That's true at 80mph though. If someone is stupid enough to merge without looking in their mirror first then eventually they will get killed or seriously injured.
That's how bikers with Busas and such usually get killed though. You can look at your mirror for oncoming traffic before merging but I'm not that sure that you can see a car moving at 300klm which will prolly be 1klm away and be right next to you within 2 secs so.. The road will seem empty or the car will seem to be too far away but before you know it the car will be right behind you..
I noticed in this vid that a few people moved to a slower lane after seeing the Ferrari, that would never happen here. And on two lane roads, most of the time there would be two cars side by side doing 50mph, and not move for the faster cars.
I'm not the greatest driver in the world(got my license last year, I'm 17), but at least I know how to respect other drivers and give the right way to a faster car.(I drive my moms van, with a messed up alignment.)

Besides, there is, as far as I know, nothing illegal about what the driver in the video is doing. If someone were driving 200mph in Canada, or here in the UK, then it would be highly illegal.
@GongKilluminati What you need to understand is that license acquisition in germany is much more difficult that in canada. Plus there are fules for the autobahn, slower cars cant use the left lane.
@Bahamuttiamat Yea, I got my license last year, I'm 17 now. All I did was take a written exam and I got my L, in a few more months I can get my N(which requires a actual driving test.)
This one kid that goes to my school drove his brand new bimmer into a pole going 60-70km/h while cornering, when he should of slow done to about 40.

It frustrates me everyday to see how bad canadian drivers are, its a shame and just a reflection of the entire north american society. All it takes is a little respect and awareness when driving on the highway but ye that day will never arrive in canada
