Also, how this is evangelion? Because Misato is on it?(Im assuming its her, but she looks like a girl, not a woman) talking about sex and man-woman relationship? Even in evangelion that scene wouldn't last so long, plus its terrible. I mean, I like the psychologic issues that evangelion brings on but that one is just plain bad. If theres an Evangelion live action aout there I hope its something REALLY good and not this failure.

Thats ridiculous, the subtitle colors change person to person to help understand who the actors are portraying. Hair color corresponds with subtitle color, pretty obvious if you think about it.

This is part of the end of evangelion movie, is filmed this way cause is meant to be an alternate reality to what Shinji'sd world was like, just like the Angelic Reality in the last few eps was shown, here he saw a real dark reality where he doesn't exist. This is not part of the live action movie project.

Shinji thinks he's the worst and only hurts others, but this world shows that the life of the people he knows would NOT be better if he wasn't in it - Asuka would badmouth ANY male she'd live with and her life wouldn't be less bleak without shinji. Being with him gave Misato hope (and made her apartment a cleaner place). Seeing the people he likes live sad, mediocre lives, Shinji starts wishing he was there.

actually....it defintely is Misato. The girl said she was drinking and so slept with "this jerk again". In an episode from Evangelion Misato, Ritsuko, and Kanji went off to go partying a bit and Kanji took Misato home drunk. Because Misato was drunk she was shouting out her depression and Kanji snapped her out of it. Then after he took her home the slept with eachother. Plus....Asuka is wouldn't drink beer because she's a minor AND i don't think it's in her character to.

Um, it's just showing a world WITHOUT SHINJI, as they talked about in the movie, End of Evangelion. It was a couple of minutes where (I believe) Rei was asking if Shinji would like to stop existing or something. I can't remember entirely but it just goes to show how different life would be without Ikari Shinji in the Evangelion world.

Can't remember if I said this before, but the seiyuu that act in this are Mitsuishi Kotono (Misato), Yuko Miyamura (Asuka) and Megumi Hayashibara (Rei). I think this is good as a seperate thing, I just don't see how it would have "fit" with the film itself (A world without Shinji (showed as a dream), either as Instrumenality or it having been rejected, where the 3 female leads discuss problems with realtionships), but it's interesting nonetheless. ^_^

I would prefer an ending where Shinji just freaked out on the 9 new Evas and kicked their asses in a bloody massacre, and then Asuka might have died anyways, but yeah, I didn't really understand most of the real ending.

In the last two eps it is Shinji's realization that life is worth living and it is ok to let yourself get hurt. Whereas the movie is Shinji coming to grips with instrumentality and rejecting that idea because of his will to "survive."

I think Shinji's too worried about life and so, and not focused on just surviving there and then, and perhaps saving some lives while doing it as well.

I would enjoy a more action oriented ending, rather than Shinji sitting there crying like a baby while Asuka is doing all the hard work.

No, not for me. I dont even like mechs. And i thought envangelion's action was mediocre at best. What made me love eva were the realistic nature of the characters and the way they were developed. None of the characters were "likable" they were all very flawed like many real people are. But to each his own.

I have a *cough*bootleg*cough* copy and the commercial for this live action sequence is right before the movie opens. I had no clue what was going on but I could pick out things like "Ritsuko" and others, which told me it was Eva related... but I don't speak much Japanese so I wasn't able to catch everything.
