This is a signature piece for me to play with my daughter, a flutist. It is a a transciption of a flute and keyboard sonata. I miss the sound of the flute although I enjoy playing the transcription on solo piano.
Bach would have been so proud! This piece sounds so difficult to voice, but it is so beautiful and completely worth all of the practice! I can't belive how many parts he plays all at once. Usually I only see two in a non Fugue piece by Bach, but I think that this is three plus... ?
