the map is genius I like how you did with the waiting room. now you said you made a room that in the beginning that would disarm a player of there existing weapons. But you also made a shooting range for the players but you dont want the players to shoot each other but sence they get weapons for the range cant they shoot each other with the weapon?

Well, the waiting room is a great idea, but, how we will know when EVERYONE is in? Also, you should texture it so it can be more like a Waiting Room, maybe an office style or a kinder garden style, or if you are going to leave it like that, at least change the text to a transparent background, with white fonts.

Hammer is the tool used to make maps for:

I started mapping at age 8 back in 1992.

Here's the basics of hammer: The grey cube on the left bar lets you make "brushes" IE: walls. The pawn-like brush lets you make enteties like player spawns and physics objects. Use the Z key in hammer to move your camera around. Use the box with textures on it (grass brick etc) to pick and aply textures to the surface of brushes. In CSS a big cube with the "trigger" texture on it can be made a func_buyzone (IE the CSS buy zone).

Short answer: yes. Sour SDK and hammer are used to make maps. You can only get good with practice. It helps to have some 3D modeling or artistic talent. Take CAD in high school, it really helps. I was explaining that this is not made in Gmod but made for gmod using hammer to Chavtheworld, who for some reason thinks that garry's mod is used to make game modes.
