I wish Lake Placid much success in trying to get their 3rd Winter Olympics! I really hope you get them. It would be so nice for me to try & get there for a games in eastern U.S. (I'll be 58; where I am now, in Atlanta.) I love the images of Lake Placid from 1980 & the thrills that went with watching the memories on TV. I think Lake Placid may need the 2022 Games to make the world not remember it being the Winter Olympics, in a year, that had a summer games that was marred by a boycott.
