I will NOT knock any patrol officer but I have to ask do the US police like to drag out highway chases every vid I have ever seen there always seems as if the patrol officers could have stopped this chase almost as soon as it started but it has dragged on for some time

By the time those officers got her to stop she deserved a little police brutality. If you watch closely you can see the officers hauling her out of the scion by her arms and hair. I'd make a bad cop because when she was refusing to get into the chp vehicle I would have emptied my can of mace in her eyes!
