There has, for many years in the past, a cure for HIV/AIDS. The cure was found in the US at a major university on the east coast. Would it not be in the best interest of the world to make the cure available to those who are suffering from this terrible thing, rather than keeping it suppressed from the people of this world. Who gains, when a very affordable cure is denied to the people who need it? Surely not the drug industry or medical associations, right? How about we free the people. No lies.

I think it is great that he quotes the bible. Half of his constituents are evangelical christians. He needs them on board to get anything done. It relates to them. to me, the bible is archaic, but it is about morality which is a major concern with many people. Morality is important.

flu shots and even the flu itself will cause one to have a false positive on the hiv test according to a 2006 New England Journal of Medicine report. the hiv test only identifies the presence of 2 proteins and many conditions will cause the body to produce those 2 proteins including recreational drug use, pregnancy and tuberculosis among others. please pray for all those who have been misdiagnosed with hiv and the AIDS Syndrome.

generally speaking, once you have been "diagnosed" you get a second test done to confirm, or at least talk to someone knowledgable and find out if you truly are HIV positive. Please don't freak out.

We watched a mockumentary about early AIDS research. I forget what it was called... something about Drums.

It was an extremely depressing movie. I'm not sure how legit it is, but the movie portrayed that America didn't really want to acknowledge the disease until after it leaked out of the gay community.
