  • Couldn't you do the video in chinese to make it more useless?

  • Hey Dude, slow down. You are the worst teacher for someone who never did this before. I bought the Volquartsen acucurizing kit and it took me lots more time. If you have bigger fingers than this feminine dudes fingers its much more difficult. Make sure you have an area where small parts cannot disapear. Have some scotch tape to hold parts in that your fingers can't hold. Have very bright light, a small needlenose or tweesers, and a magnet to help find lost parts that get away from you.

  • Thanks, this helped me out. I would also suggest people watch the NutnFancy installation video as well as the photos in the first result of googling "Mark III Detailed Breakdown Description"

  • It's a shame... this video could have been SO much better, ESPECIALLY considering that it was made by the very company that would have benefited most from a better video. For starters, don't have a pro doing the mod, lol.

  • If it's your first time working on a Rurer pistol this will keep you busy and frustrated for some hours.

  • come again?

  • It appears they are using a Mark II pistol for a Mark III installation video. Notice no mag release button next to the trigger, and no chamber loaded indicator on the receiver. It has the spring loaded mag release at the bottom of the grip frame as per Mark II pistols? I guess they did not want to make a new video using a Mark III pistol.

  • @Bigoldjeff1956 The mag release is on the left side under where your thumb would be... That's a Mark III frame.

  • Also, the Mark II does not have the magazine safety.

  • possibly the most complicated pistol ever!

  • So will the mark 3 kit take out the magazine disconnect? or will i have to put the mark 2 kit in my mark 3 22/45?

  • @mtwombly No it will not, there are other videos for how to do that.

  • I know if I were to try to install this kit, the 4 letter words would be flying out of my mouth...

  • wtf! why install the mag disconnect? toss that monkey, use clark or sam bushing.

  • @deathproof187 Agreed, with my mag disconnect removed even with the factory trigger group the trigger pull feels a lot better.

  • @mitsuman007, I bought two mk3's SS and blued. both had numerous stove pipes even with cci ammo. so i installed exact edge extractors, now they gobble up even those waxy bulk crap rounds with zero malfunctions.I installed ss fillers where the LCI used to be,and hogue grips, and that stupid mag safety went bye bye, so when i hit the mag release, it shoots the empty mag. into my other hand. now, they're a blast to shoot!

  • @deathproof187 Mine feeds CCI pretty well. I might have to look into getting the exact edge extractor though. It has problems feeding federal bulk ammo. I saw it on volquartsen's website but wasn't sure about it.

  • @mitsuman007 , ya it'll be the best eleven bucks you spend. install is easy, i fashioned a tool out of an eye glass screw driver, but anything that fits in the slot to hold back the spring will work. After my install, the emptys fling out several yards, instead of rolling out the chamber.

  • @deathproof187 can you please explain what you did to the mag safty in more detail? thanks

  • This one is needed in a high quality version too so one can see the details better.

  • better off using an exploded view of the pistol and just taking it apart yourself; that's what I did yesterday

  • looks impossible

  • Its actual really easy
