K as u can c, the first time around the Sky didnt tail the Silvia as much. But bcuz it was the one more time battle, i think tht bcuz the Saturn's driver felt compelled to win, and started to try to tail the Silvia more, but wen the Silvia switched drifts to take the corner, the Sky was tailing him so close tht the switch clipped the rear bumper of the Silvia to the front bumper of the Sky causing the collision. So indirectly or intentionally, it is the Saturn's fault lol =)
