  • Is so frick'n lost lol

  • Finally a real keygen making tutorial. The most tutorials are in VB.Net (i lol'd) and they simply displays pre collected keys which makes them into keyholders and not keygens.

  • /watch?v=3qiY45F_snQ

Simple reverse engineering tutorial. Kinda old.

  • Fun stuff.

  • Good tutorial.

This is pretty simple but they don't release any trial version from ardamax keylogger anymore since people write to many keygens for it lol.

    @ people who tried this:

Read the word document lena151 wrote and you'll have the basic understanding of how the asm codes work. When you first open the document you'll be like WOW WTF?! but after a while if you read the document like 10 times and you've tried the exaples then it'll become clear to you :)

  • i understand nothing -.-

  • Oh damn... I'm like "WTF WAS THAT?" right now...

  • It's really instrumentally ;)

I want the name of the song please.

  • Great video, thanks! I thought that key algorithms work like this, but never have seen an example of the exact algorithm and how it is found out. Nice work! Like dealstopid i firstly thought your typing pseudo-code and was real surprised as this worked in python =) I wrote the program Delphi and it works like a charm =)

  • @manorhacker I just checked your videos. And ... yeah I am stunned. How can a noob like you even call himself a hacker? Do you hack wood? In that case it's my mistake and I am sorry. Like I said more than once.

This tutorial is for ppl who know a bit ASM and want to know how to read out more information out of the code. It's not intended for your grandma.

Next time if I need wood for my oven I will contact you.

  • @kubuntuboy "manorhacker" closed his account :^D

    what a pussy xD

  • great great videos.... Thank you for your time into putting this video up. It has helped me understand :) and never knew py is that great, i thought you were writing some kind of psuedo code at first.

  • Amazing tutorial! Ich lieb es!

  • I really enjoyed the video! Anyone who has written some code will follow this, and as a beginner this helped explain a couple concepts I didn't understand.

  • hey I got to learn a lot about this , assembly language which I hated in my whole academics is actually an imp language n important for reverse engineering , I got to know much about assembly language now (as I attempted 3 times to clear my assembly language exam :P) anyways great works and I will try to make my own keygen in java

  • Excellent Tutorial, Thanks.

  • nice work...

  • Hi,

Hmmm, I think that's not working xD

I tryed it with a game. The error msg can't be found.

    So, hat now?

Btw, if that would work that would be the best vid on yt ^^

  • "Don't think you're a great cracker if you can handle this."

Very important reminder ;) Glad you put it in there.

  • Wow. From the first part, I already suspected that the authors of Perfect Keygen didn't put a lot of effort in their DRM code (because that's what it is), but this simply disappointed me.

xor magic, modulo 25, plus 'A'?

It's so trivial, it's as if they didn't even try.

  • You are great man!!

  • the shit just got real :o

  • i remade it in C++.

  • Wow, you just opened a whole new world for me...:o

  • Can you make a video on how to make WinRar extract password protected archives without having the password?

  • This is not possible. It would be the worst encryption ever if you can simply reverse it w\o knowing the pw ;)

  • he is correct about this.. the encryption is based on the password.. winrar tries to extract stuff that was decrypted with the password you tried to put in.. if the data is not the correct format it says "wrong password" it would be almost impossible to do "i say almost because with enough time... anything is.." anyway my other comment seems to be missing.. good tut :)

  • @MouthofSaurons That would be by brute-forcing more likely...

  • By the way, the analord soundtrack is an exceptional choice.

  • Agreed, I think he confuses cracking with hacking or something like that. I never saw a way to crack an application by bruteforcing it.

  • Now use py2exe, and you have done!

  • so if you know hacking, tell me how i can hack zynga for chips on texas holdem?

  • i needed some help cuz im a newbe.if you can please do.i got even more talent than you.i just need something to start in.

  • well done.dont think that i guess.i didn't specify to crack a program or acc.4got that?

  • "It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt. "

Crack an e-mail adress? u dumbass, brute forcing is a piece of cracking, not all of it but a piece.u ain't knowing shit.i sure can say that my computer knowledge isn't that gr8 now.but u sure are dumb to think ur gonna be better than me. i only got my computer 2 years ago and im learning to hack.i bet ull never be that fast.

  • well sucky. u ain't a cracker if you dont know programing at all.if u learned on google,u learned to crack litle programs ,but ull never be able to crack a game ,crack an email adress crack the big things.thats what makes an real cracker.u can never crak codes.suck on it.

  • When it comes to keygenning you need to know something about coding else you will fail. There are many ways to keygen an application you can rip the routine and use it in an ASM coded template or you can rewrite the routine in any coding lang.

But patching, serial phishing and unpacking isnt hard at all. You dont have to be a coder to do that, all you need is to know some basic commands of ASM such as, mov, cmp, dec, inc, xor, jnz.

  • where can i get those commands? i mean where can i learn that language? ansambly?which tools should i use? i mean for serials and patching? how can i make patch files etc? thats what i exactly wanteds to know. u seem to have some knowledge about this. can u send me ur e-mail adress? i would want to ask u a few things.if u can , pm , me. anyway.thnx v v v much 4 ur help.i appreciate it v much. bye bro.

  • Its not easy as you think it is, you cannot get those commands they are just simple commands used is ASM, ASM is the language thats is shown in the debugger. You cant learn a command you must know how its used, there are a lot of tutorials you can find on google about this subject.

  • ok. i know it ain't easy, but that's y i keep asking people where to find the basics, where i should start.for ex. where did u start learning all these things?

  • I got help from a great cracker I know, btw you should also learn to unpack protectors since a lot of programs are protected.

If you start you shouldnt start with keygenning, learn the basics of cracking, then learn serial phishing, unpacking and then move on to keygenning.

If you know the basics of cracking then its easy, the concept is the same for all platforms like PDA, MAC, Linux the only difference is the ASM commands are different but the functions are the same.

  • ok.ima try a few things out.thnx man.ur gr8.

  • suck me.ur the dummy one if u think u can become a cracker only by searching google. u gotta learn programing first.than if u r not like u,i mean not dumb , u can learn a little crack.this means ur out of this thema.

  • Where can I learn the basics of reverse engeenearing? Can anybody help me? Any link where to start?Any tutorial?

  • you need 2 videos for this if you shoudda talk you shouldn't need it i wont watch this video.. takes me to long! gg

  • wtf dude?!

lol i was sitting here for an half and hour trying to understand the stuff you where messing around eith there... XD

  • You should have at least basic reverse engineering skills to understand whats going on there. :) But i am glad that you at least tried to understand it :)

  • Well there is nothing to risk by knowing new stuff ^^

  • ty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • both videos are great...excellent work, as for those people that say that is to easy.. I don't see any videos of them.

Once again great video....but I think that a bit more detail will help the rest of us a bit more.

  • Good videos for both. Kubuntu is also pretty neat. :p Just got into RE myself and must say that asm is a complex and interesting view from the world of c.

  • both videos were great btw :)

  • isn't xor encryption too weak though?

If you XOR for example a plain text with the encrypted text it gives you the key, right?

  • XOR is weak as long you know the Counter-String(Magic String). I bet the vendor of this tool never thought about it that the "Magic-String" will ever be found ;)

And yes. XOR is bijective. But the vendor don't use *only* XOR. One of the steps to the serial is XOR. But good thinking.

  • @kubuntuboy

The vendor probably did not have the financial resources and/or knowledge to implement any better security measurements. Nice video! Very understandable even for someone with basic knowledge of asm.

  • I don't understand your question.

If you have tried this python script, you have to change the username. If not describe your problem better.

  • Well... If this is not a keygen what is it then? :) To complete this Keygen you only have to let the user choose his username (in this case 'imax') and maybe a little nice midi in the background ;)

  • Nice video, seems like a pretty damn easy registration scheme. I think though that if I didn't already know a little about cracking that the tutorials wouldn't make as much sense, and that some of the frames are zoomed too far in. Still, good to see people making these.

  • You're right. This tutorial is not recommend for rookies. But for people who know how to patch an app its maybe interesting to see how you can read more information out of the code.

  • Nice vid, i managed to follow along. It would be nice if you explained some of the opcodes that were used where it generates the key, since i can't find a good explanation of what they actually do.

For example, i know what XOR does, but how is it actually useful? Confusing....

  • If you stuck at an OPCODE\Mnemonic, simply google for it. There are very good sides with almost every OPCODE.

And if you're unsure what an OPCODE does(w\o Internet), simply step over the OPCODE line and watch the registers\stack for changes.

If you want to know why XOR is actually useful here, ask the Vendor of this tool :) tha_imax just reversed the algo and you can see it here. But XOR is very often used in "encryption" algos with a "magic string".

btw. I am not the autor of this vid.

  • man !! this may be a key crack manually do a real keygen with VB not a 5 hours key sarch .. omg no one on youtube know how to make a keygen just gay videos lol

  • You probably understood nothing.

I leave your comment for global amusement.
