@HavocDS No, I'm pretty sure it's ATF Valhalla - an M2 destroyer with carrier capability. I think it carries 60 fighters, has12 GJ shield output and 72 cannons. In comparison Argon Colossus and Titan (M1 and M2) when combined have a total of 60 fighters, 14 GJ shields and only 64 cannons.

@HavocDS You can take defeat Valhalla with any M7 that can carry incendiary bomb launchers on its main gun. The only thing you have to do is attack from the front and reverse your thrusters, while strifing in spiraling motion. Valhalla can never hit you if you do that. The singularity projector Valhalla uses has soooo slow refire rate that you will never be hit.

Not exactly rts like star craft or command & conquer. Although you do control countless units including capital ships. It is only skirmish, no multiplayer, unless ther is a mod. Very good game though, nothing beats pushing other races out of their own homeworld sectors.

@Arrowladedful Its the Pirate M1 Galleon, possibly the worst M1 in the game. Its powergenerator can't even supply light weaponry for more then a few seconds, so don't bother getting it. The pirate M2 on the other hand, is a monster. Slot it with Gauss all around and watch it eat fleets of M6 for dinner, but don't forget the amo.

But to be honest, the Brigitten was the first M2 i got, got lucky and found it drifting (blue'd) in Home of light of all places with a titan in system at about 10% shields, 45% hull. the Brig had only 2% hull when i nabbed it, and i babyed it back to Argon prime and had it sit there at the docks for a few weeks to get the money to out fit it, fucking love it, its the only M2 id buy another of.

@darkdragon9899 I don't know if I'm right, but I think that's the Odin, I don't know which ship is biggest, but neither the Valhalla nor the Woden are in vanilla X3:TC. Mods can put them in, I don't know whether the Odin is the biggest ship in vanilla. The Valhalla is the biggest ship in X3:R from what I've heard, but the Odin is possibly the biggest ship on TC, since the Valhalla can't be obtained without scripts/mods.

@DHGameStudios All races are constant. Terran, Xenon, Argon, Boron, Teladi, Split, Goner, Pirates, and the dominating companies (I've probably missed a couple. Sorry) are all the factions present in the game. They each have different relations with eachother and you.

Space is broken up into sectors. There are a LOT of sectors. Ive been playing for 78 hours total, have visited 126 sectors, and still have not found all of them.

Also, Egosoft is really good about releasing new content so the sector count might get increased (again). They just released an update in June. Not that bad for a game that was released in 2008.

I wouldnt call it boring. Repetitive at times, but its too addictive to get boring. Id call it a strategy shooter economy simulator game. Check out some gameplay videos and search for guides to the economic system to see why.

May I ask what mod this is? Because none of these ships show up regularly except the titan. The defenders look like modified Cerberus(s?), and the modded terran ship is definately based off a Vahalla. Incidentaly, what were the shots the Titan was firing at 1:12?

Man, built a couple ships of my own in 3dmax but couldn't figure out any of the tutorials for getting them into x3! otherwise i would be flying a very large capital ship with two massive guns(not turrets) on the front with 6 smaller guns(not turrets) down the side that can tear apart ships like the valhalla in seconds. of course i would make the 2 main cannons recharge very slowly and take very expensive ammo!

@eltsoldier They could yes, but think of it like this, if they had a Hull gun (a gun that ran the length of the ship) then it would have to cut alot of turrets, engine power, and shield power to use it, plus the amount of recoil the gun would cause, you would get one shot, then be blasted back 4-5km. Thats what Hammerhead missiles are for, 1.2mill damage total with those, only takes two(direct hull hits) to kill a Xenon M2/M1s

The Terrans don't need variety, since their weapons hurt. Allot. They also cost allot which is probably why people avoid getting terran ships to start off with.

For me, I will use cheating package to create an "enemy race" Valhalla. Terran ship does not mean that the ship is owned by Terran, thus setting an "enemy race" ownership can let all other ships attacking it.
