when you listen to this, you want to feel like closing out the whole world, the bad things, and just float in happiness and ignorance! a lovely piece.
This conductor is a joy to watch--he seems delighted by his task, and he conducts with all of himself...eyes, expression, his very pose, and I believe I even saw a wink! :D His smile is heartwarming; I bet he is utterly charming in person!
Agreed, sure he's a charming guy. I can't follow him half the time though. I realize these musicians are thoroughly familiar with him and this music, I'm just saying it blows my mind. Especially at 7:30, just before the waltz. Watching him there makes me laugh, but his actions are exactly how I feel when I hear that bit.
I can't follow him either, my 4 years of band doesn't help in the least. LOL I was assuming if I knew the piece better, I'd have more of a clue. I'm sure you're right, though, these musicians could probably perform it backwards (or asleep!) and they can probably see cues from the conductor that we don't even notice. **ovation**
when the philharmonic orchestra was founded only men could join... but for some years now women can join too, there actually are some! you just have to look closer! there just aren't many (for no particular reason)
Well, there is a reason, albeit one that many in the enlightened 'liberal' West find difficult to accept, and perhaps even repugnant. Many of the musicians apparently still feel that theirs is a white European male tradition/heritage, which should be preserved. As you can imagine, it's caused something of a stir in recent years.
Sorry for that, but my Free Video Studio can't synchronize video with audio if we cut a sequence at the beginning. It is the reason of the decision. Howgh :)
@rudolfo6666 Co ze? Do you really think that the YouTube audience really cares about what the Czech TV announcer has to say about this famous piece, in Czech? Nesmysl. :)
@tizfrreecharm ...you are right, it was wrong decision to cut final part (for cognoscenties particularly). However, your comment was the right stimulus to visit your channel, thanks.

If the limit is 10 minutes then the introduction doesn't matter. Cut it off !!!

That's because they used classical music in those old episodes. Which is not bad because they made a lot of children to love this music.

the end was just cut???

Yes, there is limit 10 minutes for YouTube videos, otherwise it will be rejected.. Difficult to decide what part to cut...
rudolfo6666 2 years ago
You could cut the introduction! :-( Thanks anyway :-)
VanDiemen17 2 years ago
Yes, cut the introduction. We want the music after all, not anything else. Is this rocket science or what!
