That movie looks really scary but not as scary as the dumb assed comments I've read here. People get a grip on yourselves, don't you know that if you believe in nothing you will achieve nothing? Every subject is not meant for ridicule, and although I realize that this is just a movie, everyone is entitled to his/her beliefs so if you want to see the movie, go if not sit down and shut up. It's (loosely) based on "The Rite" by Matt Baglio, one of the best books on exorcism out there--sometimes the author's lack of familiarity with Catholic theology and terminology bleeds through a little, but still a great introductory text. Google Books has chunks of it up.

that's what i would like to know. maybe there's some unforseen demonic force controlling the movie industry today. something wants the skeptics to know that they're very real or atleast play with their mind. just because we can't see them doesn't mean they don't EXIST

Have you ever heard the quote, " the greatest triumph of the Devil is that he has convinced so many that he doesnt exist", the fact is that he does, and he hates all of us because we are children of God.
