Dr Strange is my fave Marvel animated film after Hulk vs, good choice. Planet Hulk was alright. First Flight is very good, I actually might pick up that copy as well, and I already own the Shorts dvd.
@stewie17 When people say "Blu-ray DVD" I want to slap them. It's the same thing as saying "DVD CD." Yes, the discs are the same size, but that's as far as the similarity goes. It's Blu-ray. Or DVD. Or CD. That's it. Can't do Stickam tonight, I'm working tomorrow. Might do one on the weekend, though.
Interesting DC has more animated movies then Marvel, but Marvel have more live action movies then DC. :D It unintentionally balances itself out and it sorta fits with each company, DC just likes to tell stories of superheroes, while Marvel tries to be realistic to relate to the reader/viewer, so yeah very interesting. I guess you'll pick up the rest of the Batman Animated boxsets if you see them around, I knowyou want that complete set, but I think it's out of print now.
@David315842 Yeah, the boxset went out of print a few months after it was released. I didn't even see it on shelves here! Sometimes I see it for a semi-reasonable price (like around 120 dollars, the individual sets still go for around 40-50 each here so it really wouldn't save me any money either way), so I might still go for that one if I find it when I have money.
@Zaranyzerak That sounds cool. good luck with that. I wound up getting the individual box sets, as I had all ready gotten the Volumes 1 and 2 sets of Batman that were released here in the UK, though we never got box sets 3 and 4 which was very annoying, considering how popular the show was overall. 1 and 2 started off as HMV exclusives, much like the Thundercats UK releases, before they began getting sold in other stores, a lot of Hanna Barbera sets like Top Cat also started off as HMV sets.
Hopefully you won’t have to see the mediocrity that is the Martin Campbell Green Lantern movie. Great effects but lacks the fun of any other Green Lantern material.
Wonder-Woman animated movie is one of the most underrated films of DC Animation. Unlike most Animated Comic films, you don’t have to know anything about Wonder-Woman to see this. And as an action-adventure film it’s very enthralling.
Woohoo! In Brightest Day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might, beware my power GREEN LANTERN FLIGHT! So glad to be of service buddy! Like I said you are absolutely going to love it & Green Lantern as a whole! Epic other editions as well! Great stuff man!
@Zaranyzerak D'oh yeah I meant Light stupid typo gahh! Yes it is indeed ! In Brightest Day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might, beware my power GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT! I've been trying out Dragon Naturally Speaking it got it wrong & I forgot to check it.
Are you planing on getting the Marvel Knights motion comics too? I would like to get a Black Panther or a Moon Knight animated release, do some of the less widely known characters.
I apologize if you've talked about them before, but I highly suggest picking up the season sets to Wolverine & the X-Men and Avengers: Earth's mightiest heroes (Wolverine only has 26 episodes to it's complete series and Avenges only has 1 season) They're both FANTASTIC Marvel series.
@Tabularasalocke I've actually talked about them several times. I had the limited edition SteelBook of the complete series of Wolverine and the X-Men on DVD a while back (PlanetBierwagen has my old set now), and recently upgraded it to the Blu-ray set. Avengers is on my list, but there's apparently a Blu-ray set of that in the works as well, so I'm holding out for that. Loved that X-Men series, looking forward to checking out the Avengers one!
@niconintend0 Meh, close enough. The Illuminati isn't even mentioned in the movie, it's just a video of Iron Man telling Hulk (and us) what's going on in the first scene.
@Zaranyzerak Actually I'm just rewatching the beginning right now and you can see Iron Man and the shaded silhouette of Doc Strange, Reed Richards and another one which is too dark to distinguish.
@niconintend0 Yeah, but I don't recall them ever being referred to as The Illuminati in the movie. It's just a bunch of notable superheroes. As I haven't read the comics (and have tried to avoid spoilers since I would LIKE to read them), I naturally assumed it was the Avengers.
@Zaranyzerak Planet Hulk is actually pretty good, while I found WWH to be disappointing and really badly drawn (I really can't stand Romita Jr's art in the last years, way too blocky in my opinion)
have you seen superman all star it kicks sooooooooo much ass. i would acually say it is on par with the first two superman movies, it is that awsome!

Nice editions man. I think you'll like Justice League Doom when it hits in Febuary. The story idea is fascinating enough for me to want to see it.
