i remembe when the U-haul broke down on 290 west of houston..i think dave just turned 21..went to pauls house in houston had a blast..thanks for the memories Pariah.. i think i was driving a 91 nissan..all i am saying..some of the best times i had happend while i was at a Pariah event . dam I miss that fukin band ...... fan for life
Never knew til now that he commited suicide. DAMN!
As for your more info section, This is certainly not the only band that got passed over for "newer" acts. Guns' N Roses wouldn't have been the reason for the lack of publicity. It more had to do with the rising Seattle scene. Many "new" bands that were on record company rosters had the same fate. Even "famous" bands got screwed...
Sims gave me a big hug @ the legendary club, The Back Room when I go back to Austin for the second time to attend ACC. He said he took Music Business Management there. I clearly remember that day and the last day I saw him@ The Steamboat in Jan. '95.
The love for Pariah made me want to go back to Austin.
bap has some of his facts correct, not all. My source? I was there, Sims was a close friend and before any of you talk, you should get your info right!
Get your facts straight about Sims Ellison before you write anything . you really are not a legit Pariah fan as you provedit with what you wrote in the more info section.
I think you need to get ur facts straight about Mr. Ellison. I'm basing my facts on his family's, his band's, and local news reports. What specifically is incorrect about my "more info" section, and what is ur source?
Not that it matters
