Though I find WWE boring, it's not because CM Punk, Randy Orton, and Jeff Hardy are relatively light main eventers. In fact, that's a nice change of pace from the 300 pound roid machines they traditionally push.
The problem with WWE is that they have over-scripted promos and paper-thin story arcs. TNA does have less phony promos, better women's wrestling, and better tag wrestling. Kurt Angle does always steal the show for men's wrestling, too...
And when they realize that the WWE ignores or outright misuses them, they return to TNA. People generally jump to WWE because there's more money, and granted, more glitz. But people soon realize that WWE limits their wrestlers, both in terms of moveset and dead-end gimmicks.
I've got to wonder. Is Kurt Angle really a drain-out? Booker T? Sting? They still do great work in the ring, and I have no doubts WWE would pick up any of them if they actually wanted to jump. The thing is, they don't.
WWE is on its last leg, TNA beats them on their live shows, TNA beats them on talent, TNA beats them on PPV quality, they are 10 times better! WWE will be gone within 5 years i guarantee it!

You're definitely a WWE mark if you think WWE innovated the "every match is under hardcore rules" concept. WWE may own the ECW name now, but ECW was doing the concept in the 1990's when they weren't the watered-down WWE brand. WWE's entire direction in the late 1990's was based on ECW.
Bottom line is that TNA isn't copying the concept from One Night Stand. They're using the concept from a defunct organization. Seems appropriate since so many ECW wrestlers are in TNA right now.

Strictly speaking, the MEM vs. Frontline thing is more of a copy of the Millionaire's Club vs. New Blood, which Russo also booked. The thing is, that angle was also about as tepid in WCW (and in WWE, when they did the ECW Originals vs. New Blood) because the entire roster can be divided between "old or new", so the entire show ends up revolving around only one angle.
Shows need more variety. TNA is doing it more wisely, mixing it up with people like Joe and Young, but the root problem remains.

When has Evolution showed that? When they bludgeoned Goldberg with a sledgehammer?

Though I find WWE boring, it's not because CM Punk, Randy Orton, and Jeff Hardy are relatively light main eventers. In fact, that's a nice change of pace from the 300 pound roid machines they traditionally push.
The problem with WWE is that they have over-scripted promos and paper-thin story arcs. TNA does have less phony promos, better women's wrestling, and better tag wrestling. Kurt Angle does always steal the show for men's wrestling, too...

And when they realize that the WWE ignores or outright misuses them, they return to TNA. People generally jump to WWE because there's more money, and granted, more glitz. But people soon realize that WWE limits their wrestlers, both in terms of moveset and dead-end gimmicks.
I've got to wonder. Is Kurt Angle really a drain-out? Booker T? Sting? They still do great work in the ring, and I have no doubts WWE would pick up any of them if they actually wanted to jump. The thing is, they don't.

Ambitious prediction, but I at least hope you realize how unrealistic that is. Remember, that is the same thing Eric Bischoff said about the WWF, and that's when WCW was actually beating them in ratings.
I agree that, right now, I find TNA much more bearable than the unwatchable product WWE is putting out. But don't expect WWE to be going away any time soon.

I think it's worth assessing your criticism of Victory Road. You liked the Abyss vs. Stevie match, but call the PPV horrible on the basis of a smoking taser.
Hi. We're watching professional wrestling. You're allowed to suspend your disbelief a little bit. The smoking taser does not ruin what was a good match.
You're critical about Tara vs. Love because Tara had a title run of 2 weeks. Match was pretty good, though. And honestly, stealing the title away is what helps make Love a good heel.

You're definitely a WWE mark if you think WWE innovated the "every match is under hardcore rules" concept. WWE may own the ECW name now, but ECW was doing the concept in the 1990's when they weren't the watered-down WWE brand. WWE's entire direction in the late 1990's was based on ECW.
Bottom line is that TNA isn't copying the concept from One Night Stand. They're using the concept from a defunct organization. Seems appropriate since so many ECW wrestlers are in TNA right now.

Jenna vs. Sharmell was the only bad match, and everyone already knew it would be. WWE isn't exempt from bad celeb matches, themselves.
I'm no "brainwashed TNA mark", but it sounds like you put a little too much stock into what wrestling bloggers have to say. I know what I enjoy. I used to enjoy WWF/WWE, but the product is frankly stale and directionless.
I'll grant you the fact that the MEM angle is overstaying its welcome, but the HHH's old "RARR I WANT THE TITLE" gimmick is much worse.

I do have to credit wwe 4 raw being pg because they have all the kids world wide watching it. a 3.5 still sucks but come on all those kids watching brings in sales,rating, and money,power so thats the only thing i credit them for. Strictly speaking, the MEM vs. Frontline thing is more of a copy of the Millionaire's Club vs. New Blood, which Russo also booked. The thing is, that angle was also about as tepid in WCW (and in WWE, when they did the ECW Originals vs. New Blood) because the entire roster can be divided between "old or new", so the entire show ends up revolving around only one angle.
Shows need more variety. TNA is doing it more wisely, mixing it up with people like Joe and Young, but the root problem remains.

Victory Road was one of the worst PPVs i've ever seen. Wow it was so bad. Taz's debut was lame. There was only three good matches.
