Video sucked in the 90's but the Chair kicked ass..... too bad the filming is behind the band. Ahh cute when Chris turns around at 2:03 :D Amazing what talent they exuded at this early age and Daniel's voice magnificent!
PArdon my local ignorance, but where exactly in Newcastle was the Furnace? I was in about year 2 when this was filmed, and I've never heard of it being mentioned before (I'm a Novocastrian, btw). Was it like the Palais used to be? What's been built there now? I'd love to know!
I'm a fan since the beginning and I would've prob stopped listening to them if they still made this type of music...good thing they are the most creative band ever
the furnace. cool name for a rock club. so if most of this crowd was 15-18 at this show, they'd be.. 28-31 now. let's hope they haven't traded in the good ol 90s alt. rock for some ipod with the fray as part of the song list! ;)
sweet!! i know the band is long sick of their first two records, but they don't give themselves the credit they deserve for writing such good material at such a young age. thanks for posting this gem.
yeah, i sometimes hate when bands change soooo much, but i love how they've evolved... neon ballroom was amazing... the mix of rock and classical strings was such a breathtaking sound..
aw i luv this song when i was younger i use to listen to their album almost if not everyday and i had the biggest crush on him and i still do to this day, he's amazing, aw he's awesome and great voice at such a young age and good at playing the guitar.

I wish all the youth were making songs and practicing in their garage or basement that's really what I love about this band.

Also, The Furnace used to be an under-18's nightclub here in Newcastle, where Silverchair are from. It's not around anymore.
