  • So cool, you got a neat film here.

  • @couchpotatotheatre HI there, thank you- just saw this comment, didn't mean to not answer- yeah this was in Parma believe it or not- right in the park on West Ridgewood between State and Broadview.

  • I love this video and how close you got to the deers was amazing!! I liked the sound you have on here, too because I love the sound of nature and it goes so well with the video.

    ~Melissa~

  • Thank you, I am glad you liked it- I have a good zom lens on the camera, but when I stand very quietly sometimes I do get very close to the action, take care, so glad you liked this- Badbearwatch

  • Hiya Cathy, yeah so far so good, had a follow up call from a place I'd like- hoping for good things here very soon- God bless you too and the family, and the kitty crew there.I'm glad you like the sound too, I wasn't sure. It'll be nice to hear that in the winter on YT when all is wind and snow...

  • That was stunning footage and I like how you captured the sheer grace and beauty of the stag at the end.You must love being able to see them and knowing where to go.Tx BB

  • Hi Tuks, yes I do enjoy knowing where to go see this and when to be in the field there too, it is mostly in the early morning or the evening that this happens when the deer come out in the open. You would be surprised to see how close to "civilization" all this happens, I don't walk far to get to see this either. I like that big red deer, that's true I've seen him a few times this year. He's pretty impressive I think for around here.

  • I could swear I commented and received a reply on this one... Are things ever messed-up bad!

  • You did comment, you said "Three bucks in one box, very nice capture-

The doe must be quite a hottie, but they are not wrestling very hard over her yet... I think they were just sizing each other up before getting serious..."

I don't know what happens to the comments lately either, I had noticed that especially this week- my comments are saved in my email alerts- but thanks for coming back and commenting again!

  • Yes! I found my older comment under the SHOW MORE COMMENTS sign at the bottom of the comments and clicking it about six times and refreshing twice... I think these problems came with the new channel format that they forced upon us...

  • I think so too- I don't think all the bugs are worked out yet- big surprise there....that's why I like my email alerts I can see the comment somewhere else too I know it existed then!

  • Really a nice footage, that's really the kind of videos I like and you were at the right moment at the right time. Good stuff, 5/5

  • Thank you very much, I am so glad that you enjoyed this, and thank you for the 5 stars!

  • Thank you for posting, and stars well deserved

  • hmmm comment missing??Hi BBW thanks for this you know I love your nature vids, have loads of catching up to do.will PM you later on.

    Hugs for now.

    your friend

    Shane

  • Hi Shane, very nice to hear from you, thank you- I think you had mentioned to me sometime about seeing the deer... I sent you a nature video you might be very interested in, you'll see it there soon I hope- glad you are there safe, I can imagine you have a lot going on. Hugs to you too, talk later, Badbearwatch

  • had too come back for another look , yes definitely keep the sound i love that sound , its here in the late summer evenngs but not as loud , its great to capture it also xxxxxxxxxxxs have a great day as you say there im getting the lingo lol , i see loads of folk here wear Ohio State University sweaters here , just an observation i meant too say before and forgot of course LOL , all my very best my friend xxxxxxxxxxxs Cathy

  • HIya Cathy, glad you all like the sound! I have another video I was trying that I held up because I wasn't sure about music, maybe I will just leave it alone then and leave the summer sounds alone, especially as winter comes...Ohio State is our big college in Columbus, the capital of Ohio, they have an American football team that won the National championship more than once, so yes we are proud of our Ohio State Buckeyes here as far as that goes. Slainte, that's the right lingo back, I hope?

  • WOW! Armed against one another, it's impressionable. But it is natural for them to fight in this season. Beautiful creatures

  • HI there, yes it is natural for them to fight some right now, but so far the big red fellow seems to be the boss around here, he hasn't had that many fights this week- mostly the others just get out of his way it seems...

  • Stunning footage, great nature and the sound of the grasshoppers was awesome.

    : )

  • Wow thanks for the stunning, I am so glad you liked the video- have a great week there, appreciate the comment!

  • What a great battle from those beautiful animals. Good that you managed to capture this rare moment, friend.

  • Thank you Hanna, they are big deer for this area too, glad you enjoyed this- hope all is well with you, I will write soon, take care Badbearwatch

  • keep the sound !

  • Really? I know it's just the natural sound but for some folks peaceful=boring, but I liked it actually so thank you! I might do that...

  • Great time of year! Excellent footage and yes I agree, Strangeattractor291 is a great friend indeed.

  • It is an interesting time of year here, and some of those deer really have huge antlers too around here! I know my friend loves the outdoors so I try to send stuff from that park when I find a good scene there.

  • They are such beautiful creatures :)

  • Yes I thought so too!

  • You were lucky to catch this footage!

  • Thank you, it's hard to catch the bigger bucks in the open like that!

  • Oh, this is just ULTRAcool, sounds and all :)

    Thanks for sharing!

    ~Tammi~

  • You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it!

  • The little princes of Lounge Creek are watching this with me (interesting sounds) and it looks familiar to them. Brilliant video, Bear.

  • Thank you, glad you liked the video- I just like that park, lots to see there all the time- at least to me. I was surprised I had to tell my friends yesterday, who live in the area, they said they hadn't seen any bucks all summer LOL- I told them they need to come walk with me I knew where they went.

  • The regular season has started!!

The play-offs aren't too far away.

  • LOL thanks for that too!

  • The third deer was the referee!

    :-D

  • LOL good comment, I never saw it that way!

  • Very nice capture! Three bucks in one box!

The doe must be quite a hottie, but they are not wrestling very hard over her yet... I think they were just sizing each other up before getting serious...

  • I wanted to go back to get more drama, but it rained for a week after this and work got me, I'm losing the light by the time i get home- maybe today, it's sunny and I have tomorrow off... I wasn't going to film that next step either lol my nephews teased me it was turning into a cable channel...

  • Of course i had too spot this, This is the best footage you ever got , its amazing the young stag is taking on the older stag i think by the looks of it , hes sooooooo handsome LOL fantastic my friend i love it , going too fiddle with my disaster chanel grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr , thanks for this my friend faved of course xxxxxxxxxxxs Cathy

  • Thanks Cathy, I figured you would like that last shot too, and of course the does were nowhere to be seen, probably watching from under the trees or not impressed- sometimes things just are that way no matter what species it is lol, talk to you later, Badbearwatch

  • great footage nice nature video.

  • Thanks, I enjoy it- in between the cat videos, he he.

  • Wow, very amazing footage.

  • Thank you, I appreciate that- I have some other videos on my channel of this park, a lot goes on in a little space, between houses in a developed suburbs- check those out if you like!

  • Really great footage! Now if some hunter doesn't blow them away.....................

  • In this case, it would be illegal as long as they stay in that area- this was shot in the Cleveland Metropark near my apartment, actually in the middle of a fairly developed area if you can believe it. There is a large field there where the deer, including quite a few bucks gather at dusk, it's very cool to see. Thanks for watching, I hope to get winter shots this year, I need better boots...
