I live in one of those cities where these chases happen all too frequently, and any time I'm on the road and hear multiple sirens, the first thing I think is not ambulance or fire truck, but "Oh, no, here comes one of those chases and I'm about to be in the middle of it." My husband got caught up in the middle of one once, but I've been fortunate so far to avoid them.
