If it was a cover, the credits for the "composer" should be listed as Miyuki. As well, the melody should be exactly the same as the orginal. In this case the melody is slightly altered in places to tried to be passed off as a new song. I vote for plagirism!
I suggest everyone to listen 萬芳's song called "戀你". It's a offical covered version of Miyuki's "East Asia" Perhaps it's better to call it a plagirism because they changed the original melody slightly. You will find how similar "戀你" & "深怕深情" are. But one is cover and the other is plagirism.
Doesn't seem to me like much of a case of plagirism. I couldn't really make out the lyrics in the Chinese version, so I can't really say with absolute certainty, but it's completely possible that it's just a cover of the song.
For instance, the Taiwanese pop group SHE took a song by Britney Spears (not sure what it is) and made their own version called 别说对不起. And they have also used a few classical compositions as the basis of their songs like 不想长大.

Wow, what a surprisingly perfect rip-off of Miyuki Nakajima. Shame on you!

@0104Rina Hanyu Pinyin : shen-pa-shen-qing. The approximate translation might be "i am afraid of my deep affection"

深怕深情は、完全な盗作。 深怕深情 is a copy。
中国人というのは恥ずかしいですね。

Let's say, it's not a 100% copy. It is still plagiarism beyong reasonable doubt.

No doubt, Miyuki's songs do "inspire" some Chinese pop music. The melody lines are so similar.
The composer of the song "深怕深情", 蔣三省, had ever studied music in Japan for years. He might know Miyuki Nakajima when he was in Japan.
