She was the first monster Officially rumored to be in the Legendary Picture American Reboot of Godzilla funny enough.

It's cool she was even mentioned, i hope shes in it.. if not maybe a sequel.. She would be amazingly realistic with the technology today.

Well to make things short, after godzilla's rampage through the city in Godzilla1985, scientist found the skin and cells of godzilla, a scientist who is studying the cells is doing so in a foreign middle east country with his daughter helping him in his research, but the labatory gets attack by terrorist who want godzilla's cells because they can be sold for a fortune, the scientist's daughter dies, in her pocket is a rose and the scientist keeps this rose as a way to keep his daughter alive

but when the rose starts to die he starts to get depressed and lose hope to live, so he decides to fuse the rose's cells with godzilla's because godzilla's has regenerative properties, so the flower becomes a monster, like a half-blood sibling of godzilla, sorry this was longer than I thought it would be.

I hate Biollante, she's just so...Deformed...I had nightmares when I saw her monster form for the first time, but the fight Zilla and Bio had was great. She's possibly one of the more dangerous enemies Zilla has fought.

Nah, it's not like that. The confusion is probably due to the retcon of the original Godzilla into a female (to explain Junior) in some flicks, done in G. vs. Destoroyah if I'm not mistaken (Maybe just in some translations??) and quite possibly in earlier ones as well. The reining Godzilla was the mate of the original one, explaining why he's plenty pissed at humanity and what not.

@NathanIsDOWN No there is not.There has never been a female Godzilla inany of the films. The "American" one in asexual meaning it's both genders at once. The real/Japanese Godzilla has and always will be male. Unless you count Biollante as a female Godzilla. Then in a way yes you would be correct. Sinc she is a female Kaiju.

@biollante3000 Yep,Biollante returns as a environmental defender of Earth. The Godzilla Rosebush eats up all pollution and releases life giving oxygen and could easily defeat Hedorah The Smog Monster.
