Wow. This was so touching. Both of them were in such pain both of the times they spent apart. They both loved blindly, unconditionally...but there were a lot of issues they had to solve in order to finally make it work. I'm glad that by the end of the show, they seemed to finally be on that path...I just wished we could have seen them reach the destination.
@Sixica Also, I'm glad that you put the quotation at the beginning. That one always bugged me, but seeing it in this context, I can understand that was what he had to tell himself in order to survive his heartbreak.
@Sixica Thanks for your comments! :) ITA...now that the show is over, I see from a better perspective all the pain they BOTH went through and all the lies they had to tell themselves in order to survive it. Luke chose to believe he wasn't the right man for her and Lorelai chose to believe he didn't really want her, so she only had Christopher to go to. I wish it didn't take them so long to heal their relationship but I'm glad they realized they could only be truly happy by being together.
they do at the finale they got back together at the end so Luke and Lorelai were meant to be together it was Christopher that got in the way of there relationship and it was Emily that caused it all too and it was also April i think that Luke was scared of getting married.
This is a great video, I especially like the audio in the beginning. And I liked how you mixed happy clips from their relationship with sadder clips from S7.

I understand how hurt Luke was, but I also understand why Lorelai had to do it. He was hurting her, and she needed to do it. Luke, being Luke, didn't show it.
