@cnyberg0 me neither! loved rare earth in 70's and saw them in Chicago in 1972 when i was in college. this song hadn't been recorded yet, but they did some great sets, with Born to Wander, Know I'm losin You, etc,
Back in the day, when every store had a record department, I would poor through the bins and would buy albums based only on what the band looked like, or the cover art. Many times I never heard of the artist. Ma was my introduction to Rare Earth, and I had never heard of them, but I bought the album anyway, 'cause I thought the cover was just hilarious...big fat nude old lady riding on a rocking horse. Now they're just a part of the music out there that I can look back on and just smile fondly..
no se que pinga pasa pero ya he tratado tres veces y mi comentario no sale. De todos modos queria decir que la version de The Temptations me dio escalofrios despues de decadas pero esta de Rare Earth es grande tambien
The first time I heard this song was at my Aunt Venita's house the day of her funeral. I miss her still to this day. The most wonderful woman to ever grace this planet.
I'm kicking off my 55th birthday and "I Justy Want to Celebrate!" Going to see them tomorrow, Aug. 3 in Ocean City, NJ. I've got 4 front row center seats, and ol' skool friends by my side. who will enjoy the trip in the Wayback Machine (Mr. Peabody) as much as I will. Now let me gofind my Afro wig and platform shoes....so "Get Ready, Cause Here I Come!" ONE LOVE "Ma"
Great song. Do you know what the song is called by them that goes "You, Me, And Everybody livin on the Hillside"? I can't find the name of it. Thanks.
Erstmals 1976 gehört. Hat mich absolut in meinem Musikgeschmack beeinflusst. Habe noch die orginale Platte und komme noch immer in den richtigen Groove. Wer es kennt der weis was ich meine.

Buy the whole album its brilliant, took a lot of getting in Aus back in the early seventies as Rare Earth were unheard of downunder on any radio.

Oh, what a song. the insistent guitar and the drums drive you tizzy. Pity they don't make music like this any more.

Norman Whitfield (G.R.H.S.) and Rare Earth collaborated on what would be the band's *finest* album.
Every tune here is EXCELLENT!
And *this* plays out like a *symphony!*
Thanx, m8..
