Simply lovely. I will never get tired of hearing this song over and over. I wish this song would've gained more publicity when it came out. I had a hard time getting this CD because I live in the sticks where no one knows about good music.
I don't like the end of the song where she says "How many lovers have walked upon the shore before before you and I? How many said Goodbye?" it seems like such a contrast to the happy bubbly nature of the preceeding song.

I think it is a pretty true statement on her part. That kind of love is so valuable, but you can experience that kind of love and have to walk away from it. I love Ms. Summer. She is a true artist. Hail the Queen!
How in the world can you come to such a conclusion from this song? LOL. It's more like a love song and embracing her love for her partner and how other couples may have experienced what she's experiencing, but they did not last. She believes they will last even though others may not have. LOL.
