Watching this clip reminded me of how frequently Ron Ely would TOTALLY gush, dote and fawn all over pretty Lisa Donovan whenever she was needed to sing along with the musical clues.
No one, past or present, would have figured out from the first 4 pictures that it was Bob Barker. Come the second pic, I kind of thought it was... whom ever played the Beaver.
Was the horn player napping on the $3K clue? And this was a prime example of how syndicated game shows couldn't afford to stop tape in those days, thus ensuring bloopers like that would make it to air. :-)
If it were up to me, the six musical clues I would've used would be: "Theme from 'Citizen Kane'," "Ten Little Indians," "In The Navy," "Games People Play," "How Much is That Doggie in the Window?," and of course, "The Theme from 'TPIR.'"
Ron Ely reminding you to help control the pet population and have your pets spayed or neutered at the end of this episode speaking of Bob Barker. Ron Ely should of sub hosted The Price Is Right in the 1980's if Bob didn't make it to a taping.
Not that I care THAT much, but why on Earth did some asshat choose to negative rate my comment thus far? At least I'm not like the other folks in the Face the Music vids who are giving away the answer to the championship round... *Frowns*
This show was great I remember watching this on USA and on ABC Family before it was called that please post more of 'Face the Music' up here ASAP thank you

Barker grew up on the Rosebud Indian Reservation when he was a little boy.
