there is an original Knights Templar song found in Jerusalem. but the singing is much more Western Roman. but there is not the same liveliness as in Byzantine chants. you can tell the one who wrote it lived a hard rough life. you can feel it in the song.

Beneventan chant had some points in common with Ambrosian/Milanese.
