  • Will you please make a tutorial on the settings, how you compressed the video, and what program you used to reduce the size of the video?

As well, How long does one average video take to upload onto youtube?

    Thanks.

  • it Looks good on the wii because the wii Is less graphical then the PS3 And the 360 the dazzle can handle wii quality but it just cant handle ps3 and 360 graphics

  • do you need a VCR to do this?

  • it looks awesome on wii but not on xbox or ps3

  • How do you compress the files?

  • can you plz tell me settings mine is all fucked up

  • Why does it look good on the wii but it look crappy on Ps3 and 360 systems?

  • plus looks really good, i'm ordering one 7 days from now

  • Plus.

  • U sure? isnt platinum the better one?

  • Platinum is the older version. Video Creator Plus is the new PLatinum version. They're both the silver colored but Plus is newer.

  • I wanna buy this but the only thing that scares me is that every test video I see theres like these jumping lines at the bottom, I can kinda see it your vid but not bad. I love the quality though it looks great.

  • Good quality, how long did the upload take for you?

  • i also Post my videos on youtube using Pinnacle Studio 12

you can see my problems in my Only SSBB video (Falco VS R.O.B.)

    thanx!

  • Ok i have the Dazzle Video Creator Plus and i have a lot of problems...(i use Pinnacle Studio 12)

    - I have the worst Sound Delay

    - My videos Skip while playing

    - Theres a Crackling Noise in the backround while the video is playing

    - The Video Is a little Blurry

If you can please help me and tell me how to fix these problems i would really a preciate it.

I use 3 Y Adapters and i use 1 RCA cable from the dazzle to the TV

My Wii Cable is Connected to the 3 Y Adapters on the Dazzle

  • I have a couple questions, since I may buy one of these:

How high would the file size be for the average recording?

So when you convert the video, it compresses to a smaller file with the same quality? How much does it compress?

What kind of extra cables do you have to buy?

Sorry, just want to make sure I do this right if I'm buying one lol. Thanks.

  • Well, the file size for an average recording depends on how long the video is, but the file size is considerably high. A 3-minute long video is usually 500MB when I record. I save my recordings in .AVI format and convert it to .WMV using a free program called: Super by: Erightsoft. The settings I use in this program are as follows:

  • Encoder: FFmpeg

    DirectShow Decode: Checked

    Video Scale: No Change

    Aspect: None

    Frame/Sec: 30

    Video Bitrate: 1056kbps (2064kbps - High-Quality)

    Options: All CHecked

    Sampling Freq: 44100 (48000 - High-Quality)

    Channels: 2

    Audio Bitrate: 96 kbps (128 kbps - High-Quality)

  • Although there is a bit of loss in quality, it is not a major loss and will do for a Youtube upload. It dramatically reduces the size of the video so it will be under the 100MB limit for Youtube, although it still depend on the length of the video.

  • When I bought my dazzle, I also bought a composite cable and 3 Y adapters. Afterwards, I looked on the internet for instructions on how to install it. It was a breeze to install and worked perfectly. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

  • Thanks for the help :)

  • can I just use regular composite cables going for my consoule to my tv, then use regular composite cables to go out to my dazzle? if so how bad would the quality be?

  • what do you save the format as,and do you use s-vieo(please reply)

  • I save the video in .avi format but then I compress it to lower the file size while still retaining the quality of the video.

  • looks like its well

  • i just just bought the same dazzle, but the video wont come out in the screen. i just bought the RCA cables.

  • Are you sure you installed it correctly? Look on search engines for links to pages that will instruct you on how to install your Dazzle and connect it properly.

  • which is better the dazzle plus or platinum?

  • arn't they the same

  • Both of the versions you stated are very similar that it wouldn't matter (on a major scale) which version you decide to buy.

  • Nice quality, do you happen to know if the Dazzle Video Creator Plus works with Pal 60?

  • Yes, you can capture a video using the PAL TV standard.

  • Great Quality!!!!

  • hey i hve the same thing only when i record the sound is way behind the video and it is all jumpy nd skippy HELP HELP HELP ILL DO ANYTHING

  • Well, if you play it on Windows Media Player (assuming you have Windows XP/Vista), you may experience skips because of the high file size the recorded video is. The best advice I could give is to find a program that can convert between video formats. I personally use Super by: erightsoft. If you still have problems, let me know.

  • can you help on mine i have the same capture card as you, like when i record my video and upload it on youtube its still blurry and it doesnt show the view high quality link. can you tell me your settings and also what file type and preset you use

  • Well, after I recorded the video using an .avi format, I converted it using a free program called Super by: erightsoft. I converted it because of the high file size. While converting the video, I click on a box labeled "Top Quality" and used a high bitrate. I hope this helps. =)

  • u own at the game and great quality

  • Thank you very much! =)

  • is this the new black 1?

  • Yes, it is.

  • quality looks great. ive been thinking about getting the dazzle plus, however i heard that it doesn't run on the vista OS. what do you use?

  • I don't know about Windows Vista. I personally use Windows XP but I'm planning to dual boot my computer so that I can have two operating system. Once I do this, I will test to see whether Dazzle works on Windows Vista. The box that came with my Dazzle did state that it supported Vista, however.
