@CoolDudeClem The Plus/4 has been released 2 years ca. after the C64, its capabilities are all based on the TED chip which manages gfx music and most of the i/o, thought as a business machine so no hardware sprites and a simple two-channels audio so far away from the complexity and results of a C64 SID chip, and with a colour palette of 121.
The demo has a lot of shines and goodies, but has a rather mixed face. Eg. called Amiga Mania but starts with a TED music hurts my ears(csingilingi :-) ), which in fact not AMiga style at all. In overall 4, but it it could keep eg. last sections quality (especially music!), if would be easily 5.
I'm curious about the commodore plus 4, can anyone answer a few questions I have about it?
I've noticed the sound is much more basic, so I'm guessing it doesnt use a sid, does it use something like an AY38192 or YM2149 instead?
Was it released later or earlier then the C64?
also is it more or less powerfull than the C64? memory, processor, graphics etc...
I'm quite clueless as to what the Plus 4 and C16 are, as I only just discverd them though youtube.
