lol im sorry i dont keep up with the newest sonic racing game... i mean if it was something like a new Phantasy Star (like the one for ds) or the 2010 sonic game then i would be more inclined to follow.

you have to remember, they are trying to market to ppl who dont keep up with the news, so when they only show the same 4 chars, the general public is only left to assume that characters are omitted until they see a video of them.

I know that this is sort of mean, but when will SEGA or Sonic Team make a Sonic game that sticks to the ORIGINAL plot with Dr. Robotnik/Dr. Eggman? It would sell a lot and get the rankings of Sonic games back up. It would be the best one ever and also if it had a cool multi-player!

This is not a Sonic game.

This is just a SEGA game that features characters including Sonic the Hedgehog. His name in the title makes about as much sense as the "Super ____ Bros" in "Super Smash Bros"

that's only half true. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection had Sonic in the title because there was more games then the regular version. and this time is because most of the charaters in the game are Sonic charaters.
