This was one of the happiest days (nights) of my life, and I slept like a baby. The world series was a bit anti-climatic after beating the Yankees for the pennant.

to me the world series was what made that year, beating the yankees was just redemption that we had to carry out before would could achieve a championship. as a sox fan who went to yankee stadium before and after 04, it was nice to not here 1918, and if we didnt win the series, they could still chant that.
