These creatures are really good for listening with Ipod or Psp. But for a desktop pc the bass and volume are way to low. i recommend a Harman Soundstick for desktops pc's if you really want deep heavy bass gor for soundsticks.
@VideoUploaderr I completely agree, I own both, and the soundsticks definitely have superior bass. I still find the Creatures dent though, especially for the price.
yess true it sounds really good for the size. and the sound quality is the same as the Soundsticks no defference. but the subwoofer is really too litle made this way you really dont get deep hard bass. the only difference between te Soundsticks and Creature. is the size of the sub. sound quality are really the same i own them both
@doodlejumper1995 My Harmon Kardon Soundsticks produce a dark, even, clean rumble throughout a large space, whereas the JBL's subwoofer gives the sense of a little plastic box shaking in the corner. I hate to bash this trait so much, but it is a big downside. Other than that they are great. Gud luck
@doodlejumper1995 Well sounds like a good option for you. The sound quality is great, but honestly as I am used to my Harmon Kardon soundsticks, I pushed the creatures a little too far. So a very descent audio range, but don't push it, they will get scratchy. Also please note I am not impressed with the subwoofer on this item. It doesn't produce pure bass, more like a "dirty rumble" that would come from the structure of the subwoofer shaking and not absorbing and dispersing it well enough.
@doodlejumper1995 If the primary use would be an iPod I would suggest against it. There is no integrated dock, charging, and they may be a little pricy for just an iPod speaker set. They are best used for computer speaker use or on small headphone capable TVs. But its always up to the customer. Twitter: NEONMedia
@nick111104 You can connect them to any computer or device that has a headphone jack or a simple audio out, not the larger ones you see with amps. I hope that answers your question, not sure what you meant.

@NEONreplay how about the clearness
which of them sound clearer?
laiyau 4 months ago
@laiyau The Creatures have a treble control knob, the soundsticks don't. the creatures deliver very nice treble, their weakness is the bass.
